May be some issues with battery life and volume level - reviews here :-

Would buy this, but doesn't appear to have an SD slot for playing MP3s. Will hold out for something a bit better...

I bought one of these a few months ago (for more than this) for the kitchen. Took it back within a few days as sound quality is quite poor and not loud enough to listen to if chopping or cooking (so useless in a kitchen). We paid a bit extra and got a pure one, much nicer sound and volume.

That's what I've been looking at. Trouble is, I think the cheapest Pure one with SD slot is the Pure Evoke 3 at £130 upwards!

Been after a decent Dab radio for the office. I'm sure it'll be fine in there as it's not too noisy.

Voted Hot, thanks OP.

There was a time when Roberts stood for classical design and superb sound quality. Now they'll just slap their name on anything and charge double the going rate for people that can't see past the badge. This is a perfect example - what are they smoking if they think spraying cheap plastic with gold coloured paint makes it look "exclusive"? It has to be the tackiest looking thing I've seen in a long time, worthy of a seaside gift shop and a "Kingavon" label!

does anyone know if it has digital output?

How do you record on it?! :whistling:

Isn't there a way to record and back-up recordings, whether via a cable to PC or card slot, etc....?
