Cracking film.
Academy Award® winner Russell Crowe reunites with legendary Gladiator director Ridley Scott for epic action adventure in Robin Hood.

Discover the untold story of the man behind the legend as Robin, a heroic warrior, turns outlaw when he assembles a band of skilled marauders to confront injustice and lead an uprising against a weak and corrupt English King.

When the rebellious hero falls for the spirited Lady Marion (Academy Award® winner Cate Blanchett), he must first save her village and then confront a growing storm of threats from near and afar if he is to win her heart. As Robin and his men answer a call to ever-greater adventure, these unlikely heroes set off to battle for their country and return England to glory ... and ride into Legend.

Robin Hood maybe?

Good film, just needed to be called something else. It didn't feel like Robin Hood at all.

Quite an average movie.

Quite liked the film.
Should have been called "Robin Hood - the early years". Or "Robin Hood - The Making of a Legend".
#8
Great price for a not so great film. Hot for the deal though.
#9
Awful, awful film - what a waste of life that I'll never get back
#10
Shame on you Crowe - Shame !
#11
I actually enjoyed it. :D
#12
Is this film actually out yet? Or is the the BBC Robin Hood series?
#13
Extended? The cinema version was too long....

****, there's more of this tripe? Maybe it's a sequence where as the French land in their 12th century landing craft, complete with wooden ramps at the front, Robin Hood launches an aerial assault with wooden Leonardo da Vinci-style gunships with rotating crossbows mounted on the sides.

Since England in the twelfth century was ruled by the Normans why were the French invading themselves anyway?

And did the ending remind anyone else of that Tom & Jerry cartoon where Tom is felled by a half-brick lobbed by Jerry from a mile away?

Maid Marion was not hot - they should have got the fox back in off the Disney animated version.
