Peugeot 208 1.0 VTI 3 door for £149.00 per month, no deposit ("Just Add Fuel" offer)

I cannot say if this is an outstanding deal or not, but it may suit someone who doesn't want any up-front cost. Our local Robins & Day Peugeot dealer is running this as their "Westfield Promotion…

Do they do credit checks?
Too much money for too little (French tech) car.....
Would somebody like my father be able to purchase this, with me as a named driver?
I need a car for work but from what I currently earn, the insurance I've been quoted would eat up half my annual wage...
Ok guys, seen as people think this is a good offer, here is mine!

Peugeot 307 active, not access with is the base model offered by Peugeot.

Initial payment £1199, not close to £2000 as offered by peugeot.

Monthly payment £119, not £149 offered by Peugeot

Term 24 months, not tied in to 36 months like Peugeot.

10k mileage, not 6k offered by Peugeot

The car will never be yours, neither will it be on the Peugeot offer.

No insurance included

Now any takers? Il take a fee of £149 for my services!! PM me if interested?
If it was just on effort/time spent/sheer amount of info put in alone, HEAT!!!! But great deal anyway, so HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a Peugeot 405 for 14 years with virtually no problems whatsoever! Had Vauxhalls and Fords and its no wonder the parts are easy to come by and are cheap - you constantly need them!!! I am a firm believer that if you get the wrong car - no matter what make or model - then you will always hate that manufacturer. It really is pot luck.
Renault have never been part of Citroen/Peugeot, if anything, Renault are even worse.

" Sales Teams " know nothing apart from their standard waffle.

The only half decent Peugeot ever made is the 107, that is because it is basically a Toyota
Before anyone comments that this aint a Citroen, theyr'e all associated with each other i.e. Citroen, Peugeot & Renault.

Most people know about Peugeot and Citroen being in the same group of companies but Renault isn't part of the same group. Currently they are getting cosy with Nissan with several joint ventures.
Nisson Note & Renault Modus being one.

Renault are therefore rubbish in their own right and not due to an association with Peug/Cit. group!

However - as to Robin & Day from previous experience don't expect them to honour any warranty claim they can possibly weasle out of. You have been warned.
Well they were associated with Citroen & Peugeot, and no doubt some influences still remain. That is of course unless the Sales Team at the Dealership where I was employed were wrong, and I doubt that as the mechanics had some specialist tools that were specifically for use on Citroen's, Peugeot's & Renault's!
OK ! french cars arent top of the Hot UK charts.
Oddly the salesmen at the local Robins and Day knew nothing about
this deal until i told them, they also didnt know they were selling
3 versions of the 207 Sportium this despite having booklets on their
info rack.

You sign an electronic pad.

So you can read the doc's before you sign them and it was at the dealer premises?

and yes everyone is entilted to 6.9% on the 107 urban. (Not the 107 urban Lite) As long as you pass the finance checks, but they ANNOY me as much as the customers lol
Steer clear of main dealer finance deals.

We have just bought a Toyota from Gordon Lamb, Sheffield and the headline APR rates are impressive. The sales woman actually said 5%!! - Which we thought was too low to be true but we continued with the purchase as we needed a new car.

When we picked up the car the woman could not print out the loan/finance docs 'because the printer was broken'. However when we got them we noticed the rate was 11% APR. Turns out 5% a rate - but not the one you need for comparison. Knowing that you get 14 days to cancel any deal we got a cheaper loan from our bank and just settled the Black Horse loan with no costs.

I feel we were mis-sold a little but the saleswoman probably hasn't got a clue how the loans work either. Watch out for all the other charges on your finance deals aswell.

Gordon Lamb used to be a very well respected company. Bought my Clio from them 18 months ago and would never go back again, worst customer service ever.
iv got a 2tronic one of these, just the basic , although iv added a few extras.
open the bonnet and your looking a toyota, i love this car and will buy another when the time comes
This ia a Toyota Aygo and a Citroen C1. They are all made in the same factory by the same people only difference is the body work.

Plus I got a 5 year warranty on my Aygo.
wouldn't never go for a Urban model again.... bought a 207 urban in the scrappage deal, and did a stupid thing of not test driving it. I stupidly assumed that as my p plate Corsa due to age and being a 1 litre, and the 207 being a 1.4 that it would be a rocket ship... errrrrrr WRONG. Only mashing your foot to the floor in every gear is any sort of speed possible, which meant fuel economy was shocking. Kept it for a little of a year and traded it in... I have a 207 1.6 HDi sport now, still makes me laugh that they call this a sport too... seriously its not.

lol I can't believe you bought a new car without ever driving it.
