Bring home the world’s toughest cop in stunning HI-DEF Blu-ray and relive every thrilling moment of these three groundbreaking action films!

Robocop
From the director of Total Recall comes a high-adrenaline, “sleek” (Time) sci-fi thriller about a policeman who’s half man, half machine. When a good cop (Peter Weller) is murdered by criminals, innovative scientists piece him back together as an unstoppable crime-fighting cyborg called RoboCop. Tormented by the memory of his death, he is out for justice – and revenge.

Robocop 2
Robocop (Peter Weller) returns to battle his toughest opponent yet: his replacement! But not only is the new cyborg’s weaponry more sophisticated than Robocop’s, it contains the brain of a madman! It will take everything Robocop has to save Detroit – and himself – from total destruction.

Robocop 3
It’s Megacop vs. Megacorp in this edge-of-your-seat sci-fi action film. When a ruthless corporation that has a stranglehold on Motor City begins kicking families out of their homes for a new real estate project, Robocop (Robert Burke) and a band of renegades fight to save them in an all-out battle for Detroit.

The original is excellent, but I have to say, if own the DVD copy, it looks pretty much the same when upscaled. A poor transfer. Yes the film is old, but Disney can get masterful transfers out of films 60 years old. Deserves better. Much better. Stick with the DVD until they release a proper re-mastered edition like they did with Terminator 2: Skynet Edition.

I'd buy that for a dollar.

im afraid i wouldnt even pay a dollar for this.

the movies where awfull, efects where cheap and nasty looking and im betting seeing them in hd will just make it even worse.

This.

When watching Robocop 3 I almost thought they had genuinely tried to make a comedy. I tolerated most of it in an attempt to honour the first film, but then... Then... Then the jetpack came, and my world imploded.oO

This. Second film was fun for boys back in the day, but a travesty for any self-respecting action/science fiction fan today.

The third film was an abortion to begin with.

Robocop didn't get a huge budget and it is 23 years old now. I'd rather have standard SFX and a great story than good effects and mind numbing insulting garbage like...I dunno, Avatar. The HD transfers for Robo 2 and 3 are very good, the first is not worth buying this set for unfortunately.
