I bought a roboreptile last year which performs badly on carpet ... my biggest gripe is cost of batteries.

Good luck with this one - I for one will be avoiding this from past experience.

Eat you out of house and home and cr*p on the carpet...

And this one can't even cook the dinner or wash the car. AVOID for 20 years or so.

The Maplin site says "The Robosapien V2 can only take alkaline batteries, not rechargeable". If true then it could be expensive to run - Can anybody confirm whether this is the case?
