Anyone who was a skater or skateboarder about 10 years ago will recognise these skates from when they cost around £200!

The RRP on the listing (if you believe such things) is still £130!

There is a limited array of sizes although the different colours and hi / lo cut varieties have various different ones. Remeber to get a size bigger if you buy a pair of these too.

I can verify that although now not exactly bang up to date they are still excellent skates with great liners and wheels at an unbelievable price. Just bought a pair to skate with the kids for fun as miles better than ANYTHING else you will find for this money.

I can totally relate to what you said in your post about wanting some of these when they were stupidly expensive. I used to love roller skating as a kid, and although I knew I probably wouldn't get them, these were on my Christmas list for about 2-3 years in a row. I think I eventually ended up settling for some horribly bright coloured £20 ones though... lol.

I haven't skated for well over 10 years, but I'm actually tempted to buy some of these. It's just a shame they only have the sand ones in my size, as I'm really liking the white ones!

H&R for you OP

OMG! I used to have a pair of Magestic 13 Twelves. (They were indeed £220-£240) - I even had Blue Angel grind plates.

Can't believe how much I spent in my skating days. Great memories :-D

Thanks - I now own the Sand ones as does my brother in law - they are Great! Have also bought some of the white ones in a smaller size for younger feet to grown into, these will still be geat skates in another 10 years I think (and yes white are the coolest)

I just can't recall if I went one or two sizes bigger, they were tight but slowly form around your feet. Definitely had to go two sizes larger for the Oxygen AR skates I had before.

i used to have a pair of oxygens! and i remember feeling guilty as hell when my parents bought them for around the 200 quid mark...birthday and christmas gift as i remember. I like to think i got values worth out of them though, amazing how cheap these are.

I've bought 1 size bigger but I'm sure you could get away with 2 as the liner is a memory foam type affair that starts tight and moulds to your foot.

Thanks. Haven't bought it yet as I'm still undecided whether I'll actually make any use of them!:-D
