Rock Band £14.99 - (Game Only) XBOX360

Blockbuster are doing a deal at the moment: If you trade in a selected game, you will get Rock Band (Game Only) for £14.99.

I traded Army of Two in and got the deal. They weren't displaying what games are eligible for the deal but I'd say it's worth a look.

- Instore only, might be worth to give your local a call to see what games are included in the offer for the trade in.

No, they bought it for £14.99 and traded in a game that they don't play anymore.

As regards it being cheaper on Play - that's OK if you want to pay the whole amount. If you want to get rid of old games to make a new purchase cheaper then why not?

but the game they gave was worth 22 quid

thus, if they sold it to someone other than blockbuster, they would only paid 13 quid on top, instead of 15, if you get what were saying

so not really that cheap! unless your lazy, then it isnt bad ;)

Voted cold, there was NO mention of this being a trade in offer, so bad title, bad layout and bad deal, and anyway, what is the point of having this without the instruments???

Lots of people are picking it up Solus to use their Guitars from GH on.
Its not that bad of a deal, but agree the title and the dscription are all wrong.

Army of Two is £24.71 in my local Asda and only takes a few hours to play through.
So if I could be bothered I could buy it play it through to complete and trade tmrw towards Rock Band only spending £40....
...of course I'd just buy Rock Band for £40 and not bother with Ao2 mind!

Agreed, cold from me, the title suggests you can get this game for just £14.99

I fully understandwhat you're saying - however, if you took ebay fees, postage costs etc into account, then £2 for being lazy is OK.

Misleading title.

Just been down Blockbusters and traded in Project Gothem Racing 4 (cost me £15 from Argos), Flat Out (£2 from Currys) and a Dirty Harry DVD boxset (got for free from Britannia 8 years ago) for Rock Band... I only had to add £7. Superb game it is too...

Yes, my Guitar Hero 3 wireless guitar works flawlessly with it.

I'm holding off getting the drums, as there have been loads of reports that the drums are of very poor quality and break easily. They are non-returnable to shops (they have to be sent back to the US).

Another reason for holding off on the drums is that he upcoming Guitar Hero 4 will be a "band experience" too. I am hoping that the drums (which look much better than the Rock Band ones) will be compatible with Rock Band like the Guitar Hero 3 guitar is.

went down to a local one today and saw the list of titles they're accepting. The older games on offer (as no point using a recent decent title) in the selected list include:

Rainbow 6 Vegas 1
Area 51
Crackdown
Call of Duty 3
Saints Row
Forza 2
Lost Planet
Stuntman Ignition.
and gears of war.

so drop by your local game/gamestation as i'm sure i've seen some of these titles in the two for £20 range.

pick up one (or two) of these 2nd hand then pop along to blockbusters.

I'll try two titles and see what they offer me later today, will let you know how i get on.

No Joy,

Can't do two games at once to get it for free. Nor was the list i was given the correct one. Had a check in Game and the most economic choice would be to buy Sega Tennis 2nd hand for £24.99 and then pay the blockbuster fee for it. Not really saving much.
