Why don't they give it it's proper name.. Keytar!

Couldn't order it if I wanted to...

Not sure why this is being voted cold. Cheapest price available for those who want it, if it's cheaper elsewhere please let me know. The keyboard on its own sells for £70.

It puts people off posting offers if it's going to be killed because people don't like the product.

Hmmm, with my staff discount this is tempting.
#5
This is definitely cheapest price at moment.
Cold votes on this are a little unfair.

Doesn't matter, people see £80 for a game and a fake instrument and think HOW MUCH?
I voted hot tho

It's true but then it just proves how quick people are to dismiss something they don't understand. If you're in the market for one this is a very good price. The 360 bundles are also quite hard to get hold of at the moment. I just hope someone looking for a deal like this doesn't miss it and end up spending up to £30 more.

Heat added. Best price I've seen.

Thanks, ordered for a xmas present.

Any ideas on what the cheapest way is to be able to utilise the keyboard stand-alone (without the game) using its MIDI capability? I know nothing about these things :(

I've voted hot. Cheapest I seen it at.

Ooooooooo so tempting :)

If you're thinking of using it as a MIDI controller for your PC, then all you need is a couple of MIDI cables, and a MIDI compatible soundcard. Your cheapest way to do it is probably to get something like the M-Audio MIDIsport at around £35-40...this is an external soundport that converts to MIDI.
If you want to do it the proper way then a proper external MIDI soundport will be around £100+

Hope that helps?

voted hot. although the game on it's own is £25, so £55 for the controller- that's a lot! I know all these gaming controllers usually come down in price after like a year, but I honestly don't think any of them should ever be more than £15-£20 a pop. The fact that Asda can currently sell DJ Hero with the game for £25 means there is still profit in it and it certainly doesn't need a £100 price tag.

Marcusesep79, thanks that's great :) The PC will do fine for me :)

Bomazu, this is not like previous controllers. This is a real keyboard, not just a toy game controller. Hence the higher price.
