Great price gonna break one of these down and make a pro kick for it. Easily enough done saw off a pad, sand the bottom down, you've got off make a hole just about the size of the pipes you get with it, take the prezio from the inside the pad, dismantle the rock band orginal pedal take the earth magnet and capacitor off, put the capacitor behind the pad and get the magnet and tape it round the kick arm head. Now you've got a nice wee kick.

Cant find new PS3 ones anywhere for a half decent price.

Just bought a used set from CEX. Got them for £15. They will have to do!

I going to make kickpad out of a pad and the inner of the orginal kick pedal on the set all i need now is a bass pedal for the drums

Blast - just ordered these a few days ago for £14.99 from HMV - delivered yesterday! Do they have any policy that will allow me to get them to refund the difference? Cheapskate I know, but it's the principle of the thing!

Ordered for Christmas, thanks OP

Do you need the guitar to play the games (Rock Band/Guitar Hero) as well or can you play it with just the drums?

You can play these Games solo with just the Drums. Guitar Hero 4: World Tour onwards and all of the Rock Band Titles have Drums enabled.

Great deal. They're pretty loud though, I'll be getting the Rock Band 3 pro kit with 3 cymbals. I find it more more thrilling on expert than the guitar, given that you're actually playing an instrument essentially. I'd also really REALLY recommend to anyone who needs a game to go with it to go with the Rock Band franchise over Guitar Hero. Harmonix are far superior developers, and they have over 2000 songs available now to download which work in Rock Band 1, 2 and 3. Guitar hero has just over 350 (and terrible aesthetics). Rock Band 3 comes out next month and supports a keyboard, real MIDI drum kits and keyboards, 3 singers at once (including seperate harmonies vocal tracks a la The Beatles: Rock band) and a real Fender guitar.

Just ordered them for my 6 year old nephew. Thinking of getting him Lego Rock Band to go with it... does anyone know if they work with Lego Rock Band? I would presume so but not sure. Thanks.
#33
Soon to be £5?
#34
Does this work with Band Hero?

This is amazing. I paid so much for the Band In A Box version and the drums are great but noisy. They take a lot of room up but if you have that room it's a great experience and fantastic exercise for video game fatties like me.

I don't know why people are being so negative. The postage alone will be nearly the £8 or less you'll pay for this.

Voted hot and bought for spares. Cheers OP.

Another fun thing is that you can download some utlitlies off the internet, run them on your pc and play via your pc in free mode, it works too!!

Drums on your pc for £7, superb

Ordered yesterday afternoon, got it this afternoon.

btw, you can connect these to a normal PC and use them as regular electric drums using a free bit of software (was featured on engadget and a few other places. Seems pretty good to me. get it here
