  I bought mine in asda about 10 months ago for 49.99, this seems like a good deal, but the guitar in these is next to useless, uses some sort of crappy electro magnet switch instead of a standard one, resulting in double strums and sometimes it doesnt even register at all, awful.. but you can modify it yourself but at further expense, and time.

  Good deal, but as i said, be wary of the guitar issues before considering this as a potential xmas present, no guitars are safe, they WILL go wrong at some point.

  ive already got 2 wired guitars from argos, got them earlier this year in the £9.99 special deal. so doesnt matter too much about the guitar i suppose.

  Yeah, i use the explorer guitar myself, much better, you CAN fix the guitar that comes with this, by fitting better switches.
  
  I had my guitar with this pack replaced twice, now its out of warranty, so they won't replace it again. No idea how this sort of stuff makes it past quality control.

  Agree with you on increasing the price, but is it available for £35 anywhere now that's the problem. A deal in my book, but not compared elsewhere.
