the rockport ladies shoes has a big sale too £24.50 from £114.99

+ delivery, still cheap but the silly click and collect charge of £4.99 is a reason people hate sports direct

I bought 2 pairs from tk maxx at £40 each about a year ago because i was unsure which size would fit, and it was free delivery on orders over £50 and free returns to any store

haven't voted either way

I found the Rockport footwear are always tighter compared to products of the same size from other brands.

Iv never had rockports, normally had timberlands or other makes but was wondering are rockports really any good ?

I think that's unreasonable (your comment), other retailers are also bringing in C&C charges

SD have to transport your items to your preferred pick up point, which costs money

you get it refunded provided you can use the £5 voucher

let's all hate SD but only for good reasons not spurious ones :)

Surely the idea of c&c is that packages are delivered with other supplies so they incur no extra costs?

Additionally, if you physically have to go to a shop to collect something, the is a high chance of you buying something else.

Hardly spurious is it Mr Ashley? They have stock deliveries going to each store anyway - the whole idea of C&C is that customer's deliveries are added to normal stock deliveries. £4.99 is taking the mick.
By the way I also dislike SD for their refund policy and for the poor service in store - they seem more intent on talking into their radios than actually serving customers.

Just managed to get another pair of these, bargain at £55 and these, unlike the 'new' Rockports (since they moved production) seem to be well made

I'm not a fan.
Just a fancy boot that isn't that fancy or that that comfortable and is likely to fall apart when work regularly.

Yup, I would think about buying these where it not from this awful company...

Cold because it is SD. Sorry.

I think anything sold by SD loses its brand. Firetrap for example. though i've had some good bargains from SD.
