For a second there I thought...'That bloke who sang 'Somebody's Watching Me would never sell out the o2'..

Great deal if your in the area.. just for Tom Jones & Robert Plant.

Perhaps, at last, people are waking up and smelling the coffee and plain refusing to pay extortionate prices for concerts and such like.

Booked these last night. Great line-up and top seats, should be a fun evening and even better with all money going to charity.
#4
Dam I'm busy tonight. Ah well HOT from me

bargain! good if your close by
Im personally not a big fan of the O2 - if your coming from outside london, its takes forever to get there. They funnel you into and out of the arena via specific doors - which means getting out usually causes bottlenecks that take ages to actually clear. I queued for 45 minutes just to get into the tube station after a snow patrol gig.
Plus it so enormous, i think it detracts away from the performance. Much prefer somewhere like Wembley Arena.

Cool.......just booked. 10 mins from my house, and all goes to charity. 'interesting' line up!! lol. I normally end up drinking far too much wine at the o2, but it should be a laugh. Very cheap for very good seats!
#7
Just booked up. Had nothing to do tonight and then this comes along!
Gonna be a good night, H&R added!

It is really strange... this concert was quite hyped up when the tickets were on sale like 2 months ago, but a few days ago when I was just browsing around Viagogo and Seatwave tickets were selling for like 7 pounds... shocking when you consider the original RRP is between 55 and 65.

I wonder whether customers who bought the tickets months ago when they were full price are now seething...

razorlight and tom jones! in one night! that's a fate worse than death

Wembley Arena is horrendous. Worst venue ever. Missed 45 mins of Oasis last year because there were only 2 standing entrances and the queues were massive. Got to the front and they had run out of wristbands so had to go get some more delaying us by another 15 mins. Shocking. Never going back there ever.

sounds like you got there far too late..
ive been there over a dozen times and never had a problem.. usually get there about an hour after doors open. So miss the awful support bands, just in time for the good ones and to get a good spot.
Aside from your problem above, the venues big but still small enough to feel intimate - which i think it really important. Also, the drinks prices arent too bad. No where near as bad as the O2 anyway.

Another one here who thought someone was trying to make some money cos Jackson had been in the limelight recently, lol, I only ever heard one of his songs I think.

"When I'm in the shower, I'm afraid to wash my hair" classic lyrics.

People say I'm crazy
Just a little touched
But maybe showers remind me
Of Psycho too much

The original and the best Rockwell (from 1984) !

Here's some mor einfor about who's singing what at the gig:
"Kicking the event off in electric fashion is pint-sized pop goddess Lulu, who'll be joined by The Feeling's frontman Dan Gillespie for the first of the evening's unique duets, before Dan switches partners to perform with Wolverhampton wailer Beverley Knight.

Up next are two thirds of Britpop greats Supergrass - Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey - appearing in their new guise, Hot Rats. They'll be rolling out collaborations with Ivor Novello-winning songwriter Chris Difford and Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell.

Aussie popstress Gabriella Cilmi joins forces with Emerald Isle crooner Ronan Keating, before David Gray returns to the UK music scene for more piano-thumping loveliness.

He's followed by bona fide rock legend Robert Plant, before the still fresh-faced Joss Stone shows off those amazing pipes once again. And lucky Joss gets to team up with Wales' No.1 export - the amazing Tom Jones."

Rockwell website. Escala from Britain's got talent now added to the bill.

I am one of those punters who paid full price. Mind you I'm not seething I still think it'll be good value for the money. A very unique experience.

Just another bonus for you on these tickets (even if you don't intend going). Buy the ticket it allows you free entry into the British Music Experience (Normal price £15). Use by October 11th.

You have to use the link directly from the deal button at the top or through here.

They confusingly have two booking pages, and if you just search through the Ticketmaster website they will show you the original price page.

Nice affiliates link for you there. I'm not so sure that HUKD will be so happy if they miss out though ;-)

Well, I did point out that HUKD link was at the top and all one has to do is click on the deal button

If a HUKD user purposely refuses to click on the deal button even when it is pointed out to them.......

Just read the lineup again and think the tag line "some of the worlds biggest bands and musicians" wouldn't stand up in a court of law !!

Can't see the tickets available anymore, probably because it is too close to the venue starting time?

Probably because it was last night

Was a good night - bargain for the money, and the seats were very good too - could see the artists quite well.

Shame the food and drink is so expensive (£4.30 a pint), but it always is at such places.

We didnt know who Robert Plant was, but I was impressed with his performance - different from the rest, and obviously skilled. Most other artists were also great - Tom had the whole audience on their feet to end the night on a high!

Were also a few celebrity appearances inbetween artists which were a bonus (excluding the annoying guy from capital radio of course).

Felt a bit sorry for the plenty of ppl sitting miles away in the top tiers, who i expect paid full price weeks back, but will have ended up seeing it only on the big screens as the stage was so far away.

Final note - that dude from Razorlight needs a few [hundred] burgers.

Had an excellent night. Thanks OP!
