Thought this was a cracking deal. Been looking for a cheap cross trainer for the wife for her birthday coming up in a couple of weeks. All you seem to get for under £100 is utter cheap crap, then I stumbled across this cross trainer from a reputable brand. Roger Black stuff is good quality home use gym equipment. It came today and it's a great bit of kit - worth far more than the £64.99 I paid for it. It looks like it's an old model, hence the price. Details are as follows;

* Magnetic resistance system.
* Hand pulse sensors.
* Console displays time, distance, calories. Manual tension control - 8 levels.
* Transportation wheels.
* Gross weight 29kg.
* Flywheel weight 5kg.
* Model number AG-11213.
* Maximum user body weight 100kg / 15.7st.
* Size built (H)143, (W)60, (D)60cm.
* Packed flat for home assembly.

Looks good.

I bought one and got it the next day! Surprised! Good Deal. Thank you.

If it is anything like the Carl Lewis one I bought a couple of years ago it will probably make a good clothes dryer. I got rid of that and bought a second hand Horizon Andes 150 off eBay and it is much better. These cheap ones, although magnetic, are not very smooth or stable.

Just my opinion, but for not much more you could get a much better second hand elliptical trainer.

waited about a month for an exercise bike or cross-trainer to pop up at a decent price and finally gave up last week, paying £80 for a bike...

This does not fold flat. I have enough space for mine and all seems good and only used it twice and fine and alright.

couple of questions for anyone that has one:

although 60cm from front to back presume you need more when in use. Any idea how much more?

can you sometimes use it just as a stepper and not do the arm movments?

I assume a decent amount of people here at HUKD have bought this product:

Could you please comment on the quality of the product? Is it worth buying?

Thanks in advance.
