Good price however only goes upto 14kph, not very fast for intesive training.
[mod]#3
Probably fast enough and some for us couch potatoes, anyone got one and care to comment on it?

Holy cack that looks narrow!!!
#5
Yes its too narrow for beginners, too little shock absorbsion and
not very good for those who want to get fit. I would avoid, no offence
meant to roger black, but, he should know better than to put his
name to a poorly designed product like this

It's not meant for sprinting and you would be hard pushed unless you are a professional to do 14Km an hour unless you are using it for sprints.

15.75" or 40cm running width and length is 47" or 120cm

Most in this price range seemed about the same when I looked.

The 40cm width is ample. This is the standard width of a treadmill although some very high end ones can go to 45-50cm.
Unless you have poor technique, then 40cm should be fine.

Hi
I bought one of these 3 weeks ago from the argos clearance wharehouse in Walsall
It cost £200. It was work every penny.
Because one of my knees is shot I can only walk. I have been using it for approx 45 mins a day and have lost 11 pounds in the 3 weeks. Im on a diet as well (weight watchers)

My wife does jog on it at about 6mph at the moment

We are both beginers and are really pleased with it - especially for the price

At 299 it is still worth the money. I highly recommend this for beginers as you are not going to throw too much money away if it collect cobwebs.

It only works in mph not kph. The calorie counter is general not set to your body weight.
Also i would guess the heart monitor is a rough guide. However after the first few days of playing I dont tend to check my heart rate.

Hope this helps
This has certainly boosted my diet where normally i only lose 1 - 2 pounds a week
Exercise certainly does make a big difference.

I just received a Smooth 5.25e from Smooth inc. delivery. £999 reduced to £599. The threadmill gets great reviews around the world. I must admit, it is a monster compared to the one listed above. If you are just looking to walk the above would be fine, but after doing quite a bit of research, if you want to do any serious jogging or running, I'm not sure the above would suffice. You get what you pay for. BTW, the Roger Black treadmills are always on offer so I doubt they really are an offer at all. Don't mean to sound negative, I'm sure the above would suit plenty of people

You will be OK as long as you are not really pounding

:)Voted hot by me - have just ordered one! My husband needs to exercise but hates it, but this he can do in front of the telly, and fast walking will be sufficient to start shifting the pounds I hope!

Thanks very much!:)

couldnt disagree more sorry, 40cm is absolutely ridiculous especially for beginners, which lets face it is what this is aimed at. The one i run on is 55cm, and that nonsense about poor technique is ridiculous also, even an experienced runner experiences a slight off step now and again and one on a treadmill this width could see u on your @rse goodstyle.

Well dont forget to give us a "running" report on how good or not it is, I dont have a delivery date for ours yet so could cancel if its a crock.

Well like the thing I don't like about it is that, the plastic seems cheap and that it's easily broke. One of the screws had follen of before I took it out of the box, but good job it was only a minor one. Other than that it alls seems ok, like the treadmills you'd see in the gym.
