This would be great if it included a numeric keypad on the right hand side... thats the bit I miss most when using my laptop....

the choice of red for letters is off putting.
#6

#8

:x:xSorry voted cold!! As my hubby is on his way to Argos to return this as it's rubbish, you have to hit the key dead on in the centre or it doesn't work, it's cheap tat. he only picked it up an hour aga aswell.:x

They are absolutely tragic, so unresponsive that they are not usable. My father got one as a gift last Christmas and it was immediately rolled back up and put in the tin.
If you type a sentence and read it back you'll discover one in three letters you typed are missing!

Will this work on Mac Mini?

What a pity I was going to buy one of these for use on the Xbox 360 for typing messages to friends rather than the expense of the joypad messenger attachment.

They are tat, some girl has one in the office. Being a touch typist used to my MS Natural it makes me squirm to have to use it. But it does have its advantages.
#14
yeah I wanted one for the xbox too but have been put off by the bad comments last time it was posted.

I see peoples experiances have not improved!

worto.
#15
link doesnt work for me?
#16
if this plugged into a PDA maybe it might have a use, this looks less useable than a laptop keyboard though making it a pointless product.
#17
i got a black one of these from boots for £2 the other week witch was down from £20 , still this gets a hot vote from me cos its still a good price.
#18
Looks to me like it is the same as the early spectrum keys. We put up with it back then because there was no option. Not sure I could use it nowadays.
#19
For anyone who buys one of these, enjoy your many hours at trying to type a single sentence on them! Voted cold, these things are absolutely locks for balls.
#20
all sold out in the local ones here;[

Just ordered 2 for myself and my fiancees laptops. Voted hot.

Hi I bought one of these. I'm typing with it right now. It takes a bit of time to get used to it, but I must say it's not bad at all. If you are travelling around it's defenetely worth a go! I will have to keep trying using it. It's true that sometimes some keys don't come up. so I won't reccommend as a permanent keyboard. But for occasional work it does do the job quite nicely.

this rollup KB can be diabolical to use..i own one of those PCworld touch screen advent mini pc's which in itself can be a pain to use without a Hard KB!

I've since obtained an A4-Tech mini keyboard (wireless) from maplins ..
Incidentally Maplins selling two versions (with /without the numero-pad) were £39 , now down to £12..stock levels erratic/low

Still if any folks want these rollups , they can be picked up from Aldi .. on the plus side they're available from them in different flavours (black, blue, pink & white) if you'dlike to colour coordinate!!
