Call me a kill joy but i really hate to see kids in these things. last week there was an accident in my local Tesco where a child ran into a pensioner. It appears this is not an isolated incident. ANywhere with a shiny floor appears to be prime land for using these and parents seem to let there kids roam.. I think all stores should ban these......... :-( That's my bit said, I am sure I will now get slated..........

No, i agree, i think its a bit sad thst parents have to let their kids roll around supermarkets and shopping centres in these just to keep them quiet, it annoys me, but times change i guess.

Very good spot. Been wanting to get some for my girls, but the heelys are too expensive.

Does anyone know if you have to buy +1 size or normal shoe size ?

Thanks

Totally agree, seems confined to shopping centres and superstores in my experience. Kid rolls into you and you get an accusing look from the parent... great.

Is it still the same these days that you are automatically going to get bullied if you have the cheap knock offs and not the real thing? If so, avoid :p

Maybe the cheap knock offs are not so fast! :-D Or maybe wobble at high speed... Ahhh so much fun to see a young child hurtling into the fresh meat counter.... :giggle: Only joking of course!

I also think these are terrible! Infact they were recently on TV showing how dangerous they actually are! I'm not even a parent and I would never let any kid of mine have these regardless of current fads!

You could save money by getting a bag of marbles & tipping them over the floor ;-)
