Thought this looked like a neat little tool kit for just under £4. It made me painfully aware that my own tool kit only includes a philips head screwdriver and a hammer. It contains loads of different bits and bobs including 6 precision screwdrivers, pliers and an assortment of handy looking screw bits. I'm sure it will cover the majority of the handy jobs around the house (although obviously not a pro or even an intermediate kit at this price).

Free next day click and collect in-store or add £3.00 for standard delivery. Here's the official blurb:

This 26 piece tool kit from Rolson is ideal for any small DIY jobs that need doing around the home. The kit features a selection of handy tools and bits contained within a tri-fold box, which is easy to store when not in use.

The Rolson multi-purpose tool kit includes mini long nose pliers, mini side cutting pliers, tweezers, a 75mm extension bar, an assortment of 10x25mm bits: crosspoint PH1, PH2 and PH3, slotted 4, 6 and 7mm, star T10, T15 and T20 and an adaptor, 4 ¼ inch sockets: 7, 8, 9 and 10mm and 6 precision screwdrivers: slotted 1.4, 2, 2.4 and 3mm and crosspoint PH0 and PH1.

Have got a few of few these free with £1 three month subscriptions to Computer mags. See below for link.

EDIT - Sorry link did work before I posted it. It should link to you getting exactly the same tool kit free with a 3 month trial subscription for a pound. Linked page says that you can still order over the phone. The tool kit arrived before the first magazine.

Heat for the price, but with tools it's a case of YGWYPF.... They'll be as strong as a chocolate t pot
Ok as a joke gift, but useless as a set of tools. Cheap and nasty.

Is it lonely up there on your pedestal?

Me too - I've had about 6 of these over the years with £1 subs, make good gifts and despite the moaning minnies, the tools are perfectly adequate for light duty jobs that most of us need them for.
The Bank of Scotland where my son got his mortgage from gave a set of these tools in a welcome pack, which was fairly nice of them as its not something I expect from a bank.
The tool set is perfectly ok for light household use and very useful, it save us having to get tool boxes out, my son is a Lift engineer and
if he will use it then it must be okay as he is a bit of a perfectionist.
