Pride And Prejudice
The five Bennet sisters have all been raised by their mother with one purpose in life - finding a husband. However, the second eldest Lizzie can think of 100 reasons not to marry. When Mrs Bennet hears the exciting news that a wealthy bachelor and his circle of sophisticated friends are to take up summer residence in a nearby mansion the Bennets are abuzz with the hope that potential suitors will be in full supply. Obligingly, the newcomer, Mr Charles Bingley, is immediately taken with the eldest Jane. However, when Lizzie meets up with the darkly handsome and snobbish Mr Darcy, what seems like a match made in heaven quickly becomes divided by pride and prejudice. Can they get past this and can Lizzie finally find a reason to marry?

Bridget Jones - The Edge of Reason
Having finally found the perfect man in gorgeous lawyer Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), 30-something ex-singleton Bridget Jones (Renee Zellweger) is now faced with the even bigger challenge of... keeping him! When her self-doubts return and her womanising ex-lover Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) reappears uninvited, Bridget gets entangled in a comic mix of bad advice, miscommunications and total disasters that could only happen to her. From embarrassing situations to romantic misunderstanding, Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason will have you crying with laughter. A feel good movie to watch again and again.

Also includes the following films:
Love Actually, About A Boy, Bridget Jones's Diary and Notting Hill.

Sorry, first of all "hugh" is a garbage name. secondly this guy just plain creeps me out. he has an inner quality to make me cringe. i dont know why he is revered in britain - then again the brits have a way with overstating even their most mediocre talents.

At least the Brits get irony.

At least the majority of British actors can speak clearly - unlike most American actors who can usually only mutter and drawl. :)

He has a point. The US has given us such outstanding thespians as Ashton Kucher, Zac Ephron, Matthew McConaghey, Burt Reynolds, Sylvester Stallone... and who have we got? Helen Mirren, Ian McKellen, Robert Carlyle... I don't know why we bother...

I'm surprised the code for this DVD is not "ITV2".

Irony is all the brits do get. I don't waste time with such emotion. *throws a biscuit* for your next trick....do sarcasm.

Sure sure, considering most british "ladies" I have seen, think it quite a talent to get their t*ts out, and helen mirren doing it at 65, and everyone pretending she is being empowered in the process DOES make her quite an actress. Afraid, america may not have such "talent". It's a very british thing again.

You make it sound like you think sarcasm and irony are bad things?
Quite possibly due to the fact you don't get them?
Considering what a small little country we are, we produce an amazing amount of high quality music/films/tv etc.

May I also add that Americans have such little awareness of other countries and cultures that they require subtitles for British accents in films if it strays from stereotypical London accent. I find this hillarious. I mean how hard is it to understand a Yorkshire/Scottish/Irish accent? Really?

Finally if you have such poor disregard for GB then why visit hotUKdeals? Bizaare?

P.S. I don't care what you all think, most girls love Hugh Grant films.

....and brits always have a complex when it comes to american people. this never really was an american vs british comment, however someone made it so and i took the bait while it was fun and interesting. now? all i can muster is - do shut up suzi.

This from the people who brought us 'swordfish' whose only selling point was 'Halle Berry accepts $1m to get her baps out.'

I thought trolls were extinct because all those hugely fat-assed Yanks had eaten them with fries on the side. Clearly there are one or two lurking under UK bridges missing their fellow morons.
