I brought this for £58 on Monday in the 15% off day.

I can recommend it no problems so far.
Remember its not freesat.

Also it could be worth waiting until one of the coming weekends especially a bank holiday where they might offer the 15% deal again.

Here's a link to the Ross product page - lots of manuals etc.http://www.ross.co.uk/satellite-tv/hd-satellite-kit

Edit: Sorry I'd linked the wrong page - no wonder the manual I read had no HD connectors on the box

Hey nibrows - can you check what media your player can handle from usb and what format USB - I'm guessing it can only handle FAT / FAT32 but maybe not?

According to this page it will play virtually anything...

Edit: It seems Ross have an upgrade available that suposedly make tuning easier.. http://www.ross.co.uk/upgrade/22300hd-r/

It can defo play mp3 and mpeg4 via the usb 2.0 host.

I have had trouble updating the firmware and have still to do that which is via the usb.

Popped down B&Q, had a return marked up at £50. "Don't connect" written on clearance label. Assumed it was bought by someone with no patience to get it working. Plugged it in, sat dish already installed. Recording BBC HD 10 minutes later.

Hello,

Is there anywhere I can get the list of the channels for this please? I've tried on net and not able to find. I am particularly interested in Indian subcontinental channels.

Thanks.
