weird how rotary and seiko watches were aboutt he same price a few years ago and now rotary seem to be so sos cheap, glad i didnt get a rotary for me bday nw!

Pity there's such low stock, found 1 or 2 left in Falkirk, Peterhead, Kilmarnock & Galashiels and that's about it most of Scotland.

Edited to add: there's 3 or 4 Rotary watches at around this price in the limited stock section at half price, so if your are interested might be worth trying for local stock of one of the others?

Tells the time as good as Tag Heuer Carrera apparently.

so does this for £5, or even the cheap watches from poundland, that's clearly not the point.

Well, although a Porsche has obviously far greater pose value than a Skoda, it ALSO far outperforms a Skoda when it comes to performance and drivability. So to an extent, at least, justifies it's higher price tag also from a functional and performance perspective. Does a a Tag Heuer outperform a Rotary when it comes to telling you the time? Probably not.

I can see both sides of the argument with the Tag Heuer listing, to be honest. Yes, the offer (I assume) is great value compared to other retailers selling the same watch. But at the same time, it's hardly a great value time piece. It's value comes from pose value.

Hmm tempted by this anyone know how big it is in the flesh? - I have very small wrists!

Have you every tried on a Tag or similar? Too be honest I find Tags rather cumbersome due to their enormous size, I prefer Oris watches, but you have to appreciate the engineering that goes into these pieces, especially the automatic ones.
