The news of the engagement of Prince William and Catherine Middleton delighted the nation on 16 November 2010 and it is always a great pleasure to celebrate such happy occasions with a special commemorative coin.

This coin will be struck to a higher quality standard compared to circulation coins known as Brilliant Uncirculated and will come in a designed presentation folder to record the event for years to come.

Only 50,000 presentation folders have been authorised.

...act today to avoid disappointment

I will be avoiding disappointment by not ordering one.

I think I'll wait and see if I get one in my change.

Can we make HUKD a Royal Wedding Tat Free Zone before it's too late?

Not anti-royal or anti-wedding, just anti-gullible consumer tat!

This looks horrible but I bet there's far worse to come.

Who's on that coin?! Looks terrible!

Same artist as this, by the look of it:

Why cold? From a financial point of view, this should be worth a fair bit in a few years to come. It is an official coin.

Hmmmm....I have a mint 1977 Silver Jubilee coin, which had a face value of 25p back then and was sold for about 50p. I think it's worth £1.50 now. I suppose if you buy enough of them and wait 30 years you could triple your money...not exactly a great invest though, is it.

More tat to be cleared from your grandparent's house when they depart this mortal coil.
