Fantastic price, and if you have 4.5k deposit only £99.00 per month for two years, but with a 7.5k balloon payment, less than 14k for an iconic sports car, sadly I have bought one!! Now only £13,…

Some of the comments on here are laughable, you can tell who really knows their stuff, and then you have the people who think 0-60 is everything. Yes, you may be right, if you want to go drag race.

Try taking an MX-5 and the Vauxhall through the twisty stuff and then see how much 0-60 times come in to it. Assuming you can actually drive that is, otherwise, you will just rely on the power to compensate for your lack of skill. I suppose if you are a crap driver then yes you may as well get a more powerful Vauxhall that handles like a bus (that's ok though because it's fast!! lol).

If you are that bothered about 0-60 times you may as well just go buy a muscle car. Great fun...going in a straight line!

Isn't Saab owned by Koenigsegg now? Now that's a sports car :)

Rather look like a chav than an Alphonse! Yes I do think the 0-60 is important when assessing a sportscar. BTW have driven an MX5; the original one with pop up lights and thought it was dull to look at and far too underpowered to be considered a sportscar. Brutal truth is that men that buy it think its a sportscar. You'd sneer at at a Vauxhall would rave about a Saab, another car diven by self appointed thinking men... also really a Vauxhall.

It's a girl's car, always was always will be

So a Vauxhall Astra Convertible is the answer then??

LMFAO

I didnt say 0-60 time isnt important, but it definitely isnt the be all and end all of defining a sports car - well not for us non-Vauxhall FanBoys anyway.

Oh and sadly, any Saabs built on Vauxhall running gear have been average at best.
