seems pretty expensive for an empty cracker! Wilkos & Asda also had these kits last year much cheaper than this.

It is a nice idea, I'm just saying that it costs 62p per cracker and it's empty ...

The crackers are normally part of the 3 for 2 offer - they certainly were last year.

Having bought the M&S make your own crackers myself, I can confim that the quality of the bits and pieces were good quality and they looked great when made up. Everyone in our family bought a cracker sized item for someone else which made for great fun at Christmas lunch!

So if you can be patient I would wait for the 3 for 2 offer to start. Don't wait too long though, these sold out very early on last year!

It's true you might be able to make them from scratch for less, but if you want to save an afternoon, five quid for 8 crackers ready to be filled is the best offer around.

There are more luxurious/individual empty crackers available from online retailers but they are at least twice the price.
