Five years ago Dennis (Simon Pegg) was at the altar, about to marry Libby (Thandie Newton) his pregnant fiancee. He got cold feet and ran for the hills and he's been going in circles ever since. When Dennis discovers Libby's hooked up with high-flying-go-getter Whit (Hank Azaria) he realises it's not now or never. He enters a marathon to show he's more than a quitter, but then finds out just how much sweat, strain and tears it takes to change. Nobody gives him a chance but Dennis knows this is his only hope to be more than a running joke...

Question is - will the next format be backwards compatible with Blu-Rays. Im pretty sure you will always be able to play your DVDs, but unsure about blu-rays so reluctant to start buying them.

Pretty average and unremarkable film. Pulling plot lines and characters from other romcom films. Not one of Pegg's best shall we say. Bit like eating a Pot Noodle .. seemed appealing before you paid for it but afterwards an unmemorable experience.
For my money - and yours check out Pegg's much better effort - How To Lose Friends And Alienate People - again not exactly a masterpiece but well acted and at least a bit more original than this.
Er .. thats it! :p

Apart for the very predictable American style happy ending it was a pretty good film. Not sure it has much repeat veiwing potential though.

Hot from me as all blurays under £7.99 get automatic hot no matter what they are. Heat is about the deal not your own personal tastes.

BD already comes in 300gb+ varieties u wont see another format for consumer use for a long time full holographic mediums are too pricey.

even if there is an hd+ 2k+ in 5yrs u will have to get everyone to upgrade their tv's first.

Personal opinion, mediocre formulaic comedy, way beneath Simon Pegg's normal output. A real 'watch once' film.

Don't see the video resolution improving it, but if you love the film it's a good price for the BR version...
