Just picked this up. Out off stock online but was able to pick this up in Torquay Store. It was the last copy and was priced at £39.99. Scanned at £9.97.

I got a further £5.00 off using the voucher!

Worth checking. Will take to Asda if its naff.

I don't like these deals because I daren't do them, what if it scanned at £40? I wouldn't want to tell them I heard online it was scanning wrong so I came to scam them :/ Still if it works it works so I'll vote hot but not for me :D

Just to let people know, i tried reserving some games online at my local store it said this product is not available, yet when i went in the store, there were loads in store!!!!! Also in store they hadnt changed the price tickets, so some where still showing at £29.97 when in fact they are only £9.97!!! False advertisement if you ask me! So if i were everyone i would go to your local store and ask them to scan to check the price xxx

You're not doing anything wrong by asking them to check the price. If you do it that way and it comes up at the full price, just politely tell them that you'll put it back. Yesterday, all 3 (rock band beatles, GH5 and god of war 3) that I tried all came up at the reduced price despite being all stickered at £30-£40

Edit: thanks OP, saw this in store last night so will pick it up this morning.

If by some chance that it did scan at £39.99 then ask if they price match the web store. I think that when the prices change online it automatically changes the prices instore.

Its worth checking web before you go as it seems there a few that have been reduced.
