This scares me...

It's the sort of machine that might just take over the world when nobody is looking..!

Maybe I'll buy one.

Something else to use once, realise how long it takes to clean and then put it in the cupboard - not to be seen again!
#3
a food processor would be a better option to purchase rather than this half measure device, good price but very limited in its use.

It's good. I've got one. Great for grating and slicing salad. Also good for spinning lettuce and you can use it to store salad in as it has a flexi-lid with it.

Hi Toxic,
Do you use it a lot? Is it worth it? Do you recommend it? Thanks :)

Toxic Lemon Salad ... now that I don't fancy trying lol.
So if you made up a salad in this little device could you put it in the fridge for a couple of days - is it airtight??

It's great (excuse the pun ;-)) for making coleslaw. When I buy a lettuce, I wash it then spin it and leave the remainder in the container in the firdge.

:w00t: Wouldn't be toxic if you buy this! :whistling:
Yes, the lid is air-tight - like the old tupperware lids. The base is extremely sturdy. I thought these were a load of rubbish until I decdied I wanted a salad spinner. The price of the manual spinners is more than this at this price. Since I got it (last year off Ebay), I've been surprised at the quality, efficiency and how much I've used it.

You can also grate/slice up a load of salad and then leave it in this. Lasts at least a couple of days.
