Been looking for a decent coffee grinder and checked yours out, but then saw another one on Amazon and feel yours is a slightly better deal! Here (about £537 cheaper!)

Thanks, I have been looking for a small chopper like this.

160W will be just fine for making a delicate chiffonade of parsley or mashing up a banana to provide succour for a mewling infant but... tread cautiously...

... offer up anything more substantial (say a slab-o-cow for making a steak tartare) and you run a risk of having the magic blue smoke coming out of it.

Superb! This will be great for chopping chillis, onions, coriander, garlic, etc., when I am making my lethal fresh curries! :w00t: Heat added (no pun intended)!

How does this compare to this bigger Lidl special for preparing baby food?

From the feedback I read on amazon and elsewhere, I learned that the bigger choppers are not so good for small amounts. I think this could be true. For one onion or a little parsley, the smaller one is probably better.

Also on the Amazon site is identical item is over £29, just becuase it has "your are what you eat" logo on it

Voted hot, and ordered one, but I usually find that anything like this listed at a really good price with a 2-4 week delivery time rarely shows up. It usually means they had about two left so dropped the price, and the system automatically sets it to 2-4 weeks when they have sold out.

Still fingers crossed as I would find this really usefull.

Just had a pair of shoes delivered in less than a week that were showing a 2-4 wk delivery time so hopefully be ok

Is this good for dicing/chopping onions/vegetables? Or does this grind/mash the contents?
#27
Yes, providing they are small amounts to use for curries etc...

Mine Has been dispatched :-D

They are also now properly in stock at £6.35 if someone wants to take the expired off the deal.
