Brilliant price.. I wouldnt even bother reading the 'mixed' reviews. A steamer is a steamer. Ive had a few and find the cheap ones just as good as the expensive ones. They all seem to have a limited life (before they stop getting really hot ) anyway. I think its just as well to keep replacing every couple of years or so whenever a deal like this comes up. Hot.

Just ordered. Read the reviews but got to agree with poster above, its a steamer! If it lasts over a year being used 4-5 times a week, JOB DONE!

Almost ordered the argos one a few weeks back but held off cause I wanted a stainless steel design, glad I did, this website really doesnt save me any money!!! I just spend more and my gadgets are increasing by the month!!! Never had a steamer so have ordered this one, cant really go wrong!
Thanks heat added

Heat, added. Wonder how much electricity this thing uses. Currently my gas bill is less than electricity.

The baskets "stack" but anyone know it they fit inside each other to reduce the storage height?

Would pay more for visual level of water and ability to refill without take apart … in other words might as well buy the Tesco one for a couple of quid more?

Damn, I bought the wee Argos one a few weeks ago for six pounds odd. It's actually pretty nifty ... but this one looks nicer. Vanity, vanity.

My missus said the same thing about our steamer (not the same one granted)
When I watched how she over loaded it and put the veggies in the wrong order (she had bigger stuff on the top) the peas/sweetcorn on the bottom almost totally blocked all the steam from going upwards and then the carrots on top were lukewarm and raw. When it was put in properly it worked fine.
Dunno if thats the problem you had, or maybe it really was just rubbish! :w00t:

Cracking deal. Ordered two. H&R added!

Looks like the deal is over.....now showing £19.50.

Mine came and used last night. It is quite flimsy and not suitable for over 3 people.

For the money though it was worth it.
