I brought one for £22.50 a few weeks back. Was in two minds but I'm very happy with mine. The reason I got it from argos is because if a fault did occur I would take it back to Argos and I would get another years warranty :)

i have this paid a lot more no issues at all creat find at this price worth getting another as a spare for upstairs save walking down to get the other.

When you go to collect the goods, when you pay, quote the code to receive the discount.

Bought one last week in Argos same price it does the job.

Saw this a couple of days ago and was tempted. Its got a lot of positive reviews to be fair to it on the Argos site but also quite a few on water leaking. I'm sure it'd be okay but decided not to bother with it in the end.

Don't do it, no point in spoiling them now, is there? B&M do a triple pack of dish cloths for 99p that'd do instead.

Bought one of these a few weeks ago to replace another iron that I wasn't happy with and am very pleased with this one so far.!

I think if you log in first it has an option. Then you can just go and collect.

Which report recommends *Don't Buy" in their review.

I got this a couple of weeks ago when it was half price. Very pleased with it so far and no issues with it leaking. I bought it to replace a 12 year old iron that did leak, snag clothes etc... so anything feels better after that
#24
Colour control. Does it come with remote control?
#25
This iron was listed in Which? as a 'don't buy'. They said it was a 'terrible iron'. They don't always get it right imo, but that's pretty damning.

Argos seem to have disabled Fast Track (pay online, collect in store), which means that vouchers can only be redeemed on items for home delivery. This usually means paying for delivery and waiting around all day. Customer Services have given me a range of explanations, from 'problems with the website' to 'we recently reduced the number of stores with Fast Track ordering'. Probably a margin-management exercise over the Black Friday weekend.

"Please note item 2448440 has previously been on sale at £22.49" -- probably just before being reduced by £3, rather than by £40. :|

You're right......

Doesn't mean its a bead deal though. Heat from me, some people wouldn't mind the odd bit of water leaking out.

Might help if you read the whole thread - Argos have disabled use of this code against this item.

BTW, Monday hasn't expired, you still have approximatrely 3Hrs of it left (time of writing is 20:53).

Likewise - too many negative reviews to keep, even at the £17 I paid.

Took mine back today.

product recall!! watchdog this evening!!
According to reports, Russell Hobbs knew about the fault (resulting in some of them bursting into flames) 18 months ago, but only decided on a recall after the Watchdog exposé. What an irresponsible company. oO
