I paid around this price about a year ago in makro and tbh id avoid it, the filter blocks upon every use so you end up more dirty than the rug or whatever you were trying to clean in the first place/
It does the job vety well when its cleaned out but its just a pain.

got to agree with you there got mine from makro as well paid about £40 for the 2000w one.. when its new it's brilliant but once a bit used the filter does block up and cause a big smell and it is a big pain to clean it all the time

I agree with those who say avoid this. I have one, think I paid around £50 in Comet about 3 years ago. As jtd says, it works fine when the filter is clean, then after one use it blocks up and loses all suction. Plus the tools that come with aren't that great.
