This might have a very small volume and not enough for a family of 6 for Christmas. Chekc if it has 1.7L, don't be fooled by the price or you end you with a kettle for literally tea for 2, no TWO only!

It's only 1L capacity!

I've got this and love it. Took the filter bit out though as adds weight to it and I don't use it.

Its because the filter takes up room I have one, though its not as instruction you can fill it well above the fill line, I've been doing it for over 2 years with no problem,
#12
Has anyone else found one?
#13
For those of you who think the capacity is too low, just take off the filter component, it'll be a normal kettle:p
I used a Breville one which looked very similar, and it was great!

i use this as my previous kettles collected limescale rather quickly due to the water in the area. With the filter i havent had any problems with this. can easily do 2-3 cups per fill (boil whilst filtering) boils quick enough.
#15
Got one great clean tea, but be careful not to overfill as you boil the filter !!!

Hot as I got one for £29

If you keep to the fill line the filter is in steam which is much hotter than boiling water.

What a marvellous idea. I could filter the water first and then pour it into this tiny kettle and hey presto! I am actually fed up with lugging the heavy kettle to the tap!

I've had this kettle for over 1 year now and I love it. It makes more than 2 cups.

I'm not really one for leaving bad comments about stuff and this is nothing towards the deal.. (Which is quite good) but this kettle is genuinely awful! You can't just stick it under the tap to add water, you have to get a jug and pour it in. (Some might do that anyway but I find it a pain) and as mentioned it holds enough for about 3 cups of tea.. Just not a great kettle at all! I regret buying mine which was on offer aswell.. Think I paid £15 which I would say is a complete waste of money!

oh look, a time traveller who has been to every store and found that none of them have any stock... :)

or maybe they just simply failed to read the damned ******* post ;)

Just as a little heads up, a single filter usually costs around £5.50. Morrisons have reduced the packs of two to £6.

Brilliant kettles. We have an awful lime scale problem where we live and the water tastes horrid, but this kettle makes our tea and coffee taste like it should.

Just buy them when they are reduced, they often go to 4 for £10 on Amazon, sometimes cheaper.

Currently 4 for £11 (£2.75 each) or 6 for £16 (£2.66 each).
My most recent order in September was 6 for £11.99 (£1.99 each).

Are you sure you are referring to the same product? The lid opens fully 90 degrees so can't understand how you couldn't get it under a tap unless you have a very shallow sink or low taps. If that's the case wouldn't it be quicker just to first fill your mug/cup that you are about to use with water then pour it into the filter.
This kettle is not taller than the average for this type of kettle and shouldn't put people off buying an excellent item.

DANGEROUS ONE ! Got this one 1 year ago. Boiled before going to sleep, but changed my mind and didnt brew anything. Found out in the morning that it never switched itself OFF. WATER boiled out and the whole kettle was BURNED inside - could of set the house on fire, but luckily it didn't....

have this and i must say i wish i didn't bought it,because the amount of water is insufficient for me and my wife.one large sports direct cup and just enough for normal cup.another problem is the filling, you need to about 1.5 fillings to get to the max fill line.just saying
