If it was me I would, THere was a lot of other people on here had problems with it too. I wouldn't buy it again if it was in a £1 shop. x

Dont touch this with a barge pole!!!

Both my mum and I purchased these when they were on offer in Argos last year, both kettles leaked within a couple of months of use and the plastic lever on the toaster is so flimsy that too broke, read up on the reviews before you decide to buy.
I was very dissapointed with Russell hobbs as always thought them to be a reliable brand, these were mass produced very cheaply.
#13
have to agree - kettel leaked after a few months. RUBBISH - avoid!!!
#14
Yes avoid - toaster went first then kettle started to leak!!
#15
Bought it a few months - works OK, but expected more from Russell Hobb. Toaster is a bit wonky - the handle anyway - nontehless the kettle boils water and the toaster toast bread...so I guess it does what its supposed.

Just bought this set out of Robert Dyas last sunday for £30 oh well you win some you lose some.
The point about the toaster handle being very flimsy is true very poorly made but the kettle seems fine.
#17
Also bought this a few months ago, has anyone felt that its too small for bread?
I have to toast it one way then the other!
#18
Still hot for the price!

I'm now onto my third kettle from this set. Both times my wife has managed to snap the lid clean off so be warned.
The wife loves the toaster though. She swears it's the best toaster we've ever had for some reason.
Problem is, if ya want a refund like I've had to twice now. Then you have to return the toaster too as they are obviously part of a set. Both times I've returned it they've been out of stock so last time I stuck an old toaster in the box rather than parting with the wifes favorite.

not worth to buy
Particularly
The toaster handle broken down easily

Do these come in separate boxes, or the one?
Could be two Christmas pressies if boxed separately.:santa:

They do come in seperate boxes but they are just plain white.

Hi, I purchased this package just under a year ago for the same price. The kettle has been great but the toaster was binned approx. 8 month ago (it blew up). Would never buy toaster again, but have to say kettle has been fantastic.

Any good alternatives that people have found to this in the 'up to £40' price range? If so can you provide a link.

Thanks,
