It's slightly different (and 22.49) but still it's a red 4 slice Russell Hobbs toaster ;-)

Where did you bring it to?

I had this a few years ago and it broke

Always look at the wattage rating of toasters - these are 375W per slot (750W dual), not enough, like most Russell hobbs toasters - dries the bread too much
That green dunelm toaster is 450W per slot - makes hell of a difference !
Putrid colour, I know, but, makes lovely toast

what material is the toaster made out of? are the dials and nobs made fromstainless steel or does it have a cheap plastic feel to it?
#19
anyone looking for a 4 slice toaster in black as all the Russell Hobbs are OOS in black (well around Nottingham anyway) John Lewis have a Breville one in black on price match to £24.69 https://m.johnlewis.com/breville-impressions-4-slice-toaster/p/2633552

Cold...It's not a DUALIT!

My Dualit broke and is pretty much impossible to repair. My fault for buying the Dualit light - it was a great toaster while it worked but not easily fixed like the proper ones.

I brought one of these the other day and reserved it to pick it up from my local carphone warehouse shop(as its closer than my local Currys) next day.

Looks very nice but don't forget to register it to get your 3 year guarantee(see link below)

The dealbreaker for me was the 3 year guarantee that I don't think you get with any other store/offer.

Bought and had to take back to Currys 2 days later and what a balls ache that was 17 of us in a queue.
Had to put toast in 3 times before it would brown then it was rock hard. This probably had a fault but changed for a different make.

I think the 2nd/3rd year is via registering direct with a Russell Hobbs, regardless of retailer.

I picked mine up from PC World on Friday. Seems ok for price but as others have said, the toast does co e out quite hard and crispy.

If it is indeed due to the lower power of 1500watts then I might return and purchase the Russell Hobbs Legacy model which is £25 but has 2500 watts if I reacall

Grr tempted to return now.
What's refund policy on returning an item like toaster that as minimal use? Obviously I'll give it a clean.

FYI, I bought online, but picked up in store so assume it's still covered under DSR.

They will accept the item as long as it's unused. Let's see how good your cleaning skills are! (Only kidding)

Wish I'd taken heed of your comment, this toaster is painfully slow and you end up with a slice of Melba toast. £20 wasted.
