First deal so hopefully I've done it right!

50cl bottles of Russian Standard St Petersburg Vodka currently on offer at only a fiver each (limited to 3 per customer). Works out at just a tenner a litre for Russia's premium vodka - usually £17.52.

Even if you're not a vodka drinker yourself, it would make a nice Xmas gift for someone who is.

Have had a quick look online but seems to be in-store only. Not sure how long this deal will be around so grab it while you can!

In the store I went to (Hunts Cross, Liverpool), the 50cl bottles weren't with the rest of the spirits - they were on their own at the end of an aisle. It might be worth asking if you can't see any .

I clearly have had a sheltered upbringing in my life. This Vodka appears to be getting rave reviews, so what is so different about it, to say Smirnoff ?
I accept my comments may have the experts quietly guffawing at my lack of social graces - but I am interested in knowing what the difference is - is it smoother, more flavoursome - what ?
Tempted to try some, but the same goes for Gray Goose and these other Vodkas you see served at bottle bars - where I have not had the nerve (or wallet) to try.
Help a poor drunkard out - and let me know what I am missing...

After drinking Smirnoff almost exclusively over the years, the difference is amazing. To me it seems to go down so much easier, doesn't have as much of a kick or burn in the back of the throat like Smirnoff. It really is a cracking Vodka that you could easily go through in one night and still feel great the next day. They have done something right that's for sure. I buy it over Smirnoff without a doubt now.

Wow great price for a great vodka, just picked up 3 bottles, 2 for chrimbo pressys and one to taste test tonight :) if you go into long eaton asda they have about 200 bottles straight in front of you when you walk in.

Just went to buy a bottle of this. Put the bottle on the checkout, no queue, then the fire alarm rang. Store was evacuated and we are ordered to leave. Went to Aldi's and bought a 1 litre botle of Tamova for £9.99 which isn't as strong but it'll do me :)

I totally agree with these comments.

Store in a Freezer and drink straight with no mixers and the hangover is a lot easier to handle the next day.:p

At this price a good buy.

Anyone can tell the difference between cheap vodka and something decent.

Besides which who cares, a fiver is dirt cheap if it tastes like turps.

Hot, hot, hot.
