Lot of people just cold voting without giving a reason :(
#5
Does he tell why he always looks so confused?

Quote "My Story charts the record-breaking career of the Manchester United and Wales great"

should there not be a sick-note in front of Wales?

Come on regardless of who you support, He's an absolute legend of the game, He should replace the Premier League Logo, Great role model, Great sportsman.

Should be knighted, My all time favourite player.
#8
have some heat - he's a star ;)
#9
Added heat for the book price but won't be buying it since I'm not interested in what his ghost writer has made up for him. He has enough money already without milking his fading fame.
#10
Wow people this is HOT UK DEALS not hot uk hate, its a good deal which should make for a great, regardless of you support. Shame on the people voting cold because of Giggs and not based on the deal.
#11
Voted hot for what it's worth, love Giggs X)

'The thickey could of played for England if he was not such an arce'.

Thickey??????

could OF played for England??????

arce???????

What language is this?????
#13
Think theres a lot of bitterness in this cold voting. Why people?

Anyway I bought it and glad to see some others have bought it too. Great price and it will be a great read, the amount of success Giggs has had with United and his attitude to the game make him the best role model football could ask for.

Enjoy ;-)

Glad he didn't play for England as he would then be branded an overpaid primadonna like the rest of them are.

as for being a 'thickey'. He is so thick that he has broke all these records!

Records

Only player to have won 11 league titles, and only Manchester United player to have played in all eleven Premier League-winning teams.
Most Premier League appearances for an outfield player.[57]
Most Premier League assists (accurate records are only available from 2002 onwards).[58]
Only player to have scored in all 19 Premier League campaigns since its inception.
One of two players to have played in every Premier League season since its inception, Sol Campbell being the other. .
Only player to have scored in eleven consecutive Champions League tournaments (1996–97 to 2006–07).
Only Manchester United player to have scored in fourteen different Champions League tournaments.
Most goals by a British player in the Champions League/European Cup proper history, and 14th overall (not including preliminary rounds).[59]
Most appearances by a Manchester United player.
First player to score 100 Premier League goals for Manchester United.
Second midfielder to have scored 100 goals in the Premier League for a single club (first being Matt Le Tissier).

Even as a Liverpool supporter I've got a lot of respect for Giggs. Him and Paul Scholes are both legends of the modern game. Voted hot, as this seems a great price for a new release (might pick up a copy for a Manc-supporting relative for Xmas too).
#16
I'm no United fan but Ryan Giggs is an example to practically every other player out there. He didn't follow the big money like Beckham and he's not been caught with his kecks down like Beckham. He's loyal and trustworthy as far as I can tell........................so far. That alone makes him stand head and shoulders above most.
#17
Don't understand why you refer to him not playing for England. Its no big deal seeing as the England team have failed to win anything since 1966.

The youngest player to ever represent Wales and I bet he doesn't regret one bit of it. I'll have to read the book and find out.

All these honours to read though too: 11 League titles, 4 FA cups, 3 League Cups, 8 Charity Shields, 2 Champions leagues THEN theres sports personality, PFA player of the year, young player of the year......

So many more but i'll stop there.

Not my thing, not voting either way. What I am interested in is whether there is a cheaper deal anywhere and if those voting cold can post a link to it?

thats what the site used to be about - whether the deal was good for what it was, not whether you liked the product or not - and because it was 3p cheaper in a shop that is only near 1/3rd of members it didn't make all other deals bad ones - how the site has changed ................. :|

I remember when I posted Jade Goodys Autobiography not long after she passed and it was an absolute bargain of a price. I think it is one of the all-time coldest deals on here!

I ended up laughing that it got that cold. I keep saying it should be compulsory to write a comment when voting cold but thats never happened.

It was the point I made on your thread yesterday, although that was a lot more cheeky but valid as it was a product i'd personally not use. (although have bought on occasion for someone else) I often feel like not contributing on here any more as numpties vote a hot deal cold because it's not their thing. I'd like to see the cold button demand a response and the option would be don't vote or justify why it's cold.
[mod]#22
Never heard of him
oO

Only kiddin' stevey_p7 - heated (although every fibre of my body tells me to hit cold)

I read the last Giggs autobiography, and it was tedious beyond belief. He's a great player, but he toes the party line regarding Man Utd etc so don't expect any revelations in this.

Not voted either way.

i like ryan giggs, but i hate football,

His LIFE story........ he is 36!! is he dying? am i missing something?

Also, what could he possibly have done that warrants a book, he played for the same team for most of his career, and pretty much stayed out of the limelight from the media compared with other players, which suggests he kicked a bag of wind around the pitch, then went home had his tea and behaved every night,,,

And why does EVERYONE have to have a book out these days?

i know perhaps younger people have had life story books out, but please....... this is rediculous, money grabbing pretentious nonsense, and i doubt he even wrote it!

You really have no clue about who this guy is do you?

I agree that many new famous people bring out autobiographies as a money making thing but this guy DOES have a lot to write. Heres what he has achieved in his amazing career with United:
Honours

Manchester United
FA Community Shield (8): 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 2003, 2007, 2008, 2010
UEFA Champions League (2): 1998–99, 2007–08

Wales Player of the Year Award: 2006
FA Premier League Player of the Month: September 1993, August 2006, February 2007
PFA Team Of The Century: 2007[2]
PFA Team of the Year: 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2001, 2007, 2009
Goal of the Season: 1999
English Football Hall of Fame: Inducted in 2005

Orders and special awards
OBE for services to football: 2007[1]
Honorary Master of Arts degree from Salford University for contributions to football and charity work in developing countries: 2008[55]
Freedom of the City of Salford: 2010.[56]

Please dont tarnish Giggsy with the same branding of other so called celebrities who have released books before they are famous. This guy is a legend of Premier League and European football and deserves to produce a book about his early years and the success he has had throughout his career.

Wow, just wow! I didn't realise he'd been awarded the freedom of Salford. Now THAT'S an acheivement. : And all these acheivements still don't explain the permanent look of confusion on his silly face.

'The thickey could of played for England if he was not such an arce'.

Putting the spelling to one side (we can't all go to school, can we?).... he COULDN'T have played for England as he was born in Wales.... he just went to school in England (Salford) because his Dad was Danny Wilson who played rugby league for Salford.
