Note that some of these deals must have ran out (yet are still advertised - grr) I wanted Liverpool to Valencia, but none available. Liverpool to Stockholm still available - Oslo not, for example.

Also, some £3 fares add £6 online check-in, some don't. £6 returns are out there... if only I lived in London for access to so many routes :(

We all know about how far the airports can be, and card and luggage fees, but these can be avoided and bargains found.

Ends midnight.

*When I say 'all in' I mean taxes, fees and charges. Not luggage, card payment fees and the like.

I've heard the advertisements have midgets in the pictures demonstrating the amount of leg room available (Once again "Come Fly With Me", with the current Andy Gray situation I'm covering myself ha)

Had a look at this yesterday, there was Stansted to Stockholm next week (Mon-Wed I think) (Well an hour and a half by bus away - not a bad journey though) for £6 all in. (if you have a prepaid mastercard)

the price is great but the hassle of flying with them truely discourages me from flying with them again, coupled with the additionals i.e. the tax, baggage, check-in and not to mention the toilet. Toilets are a facility which should be free no matter where you go. Its a necessity not a privilage. Ryan air has gone mad charging people for the very smallest of things. cant wait till the day the announce any person over 40kg needs to pay "fat fee" (not calling any one over 40kg fat.... i myself am over 40kg too!!!)

The last time I went to the airport I had my tickets, my luggage, my passport and my sunglasses but me couldn't buy a coffee! Can you believe it? The coffee shop was closed.

Hopefully the good Lord will see fit to having the coffee shop open next time.

Don't think that'll come in under 100ml to get through airport security :)

not much of a coffee if its 100ml....... shold forget the coffe and make it an expressor instead......what ever the hell that is :)

I thought the chargeable toilet visit was just a ploy to get more publicity? In MoL's eyes there really is no such thing as bad publicity.

Have they actually gone ahead with the charge?!

Have any of you ever flown Ryanair??? I make loads of trips and nearly always with Ryanair as there are NO extra fees if you take hand luggage and get a prepaid mastercard.
It isn't rocket science to avoid the extra charges, and no , they don't charge for the toilet, at least they didn't yesterdayt on the 14.99 all in price from Tenerife........people should have at least a little knowledge of what they are talking about before posting, HOT HOT HOT from me.

You said it mate !!!

Was just about to post 'whats the betting ryanair put laxative in their in flight meals to rake in the toilet cash'

Then i realised, this is ryan air, in flight meals dont exist beyond the foam coming out of the tattered and ripped seats... and they'd charge you for that if they caught you.

Why does everyone complain so much about Ryanair? If you're going for a few days, take a small suitcase as hand luggage, no extra charges. Never been delayed with Ryanair but have been delayed with many other airlines.

I've been let down by Ryanair many times, had my taxes witheld by their ridiculous 'admin fee' which is a load of crap, but in the grand scheme of things they have done me a masive service. I've seen much of Europe on 2p.

The toilets don't charge, it was just mooted, but carry on if it makes you warm inside....

check there 'table of fees', got stung last time!!

I read an article last year where the CEO was really thinking of doing this, unfortunately the law on all passengers having a seat belt squashed the plan before it started

It's true. Omar is doing it on flylo though :D Personally, and it's old news, I would be prepared to stand for a hour or two on short hops for the right price. But since sitting can be so cheap if you know their system.....

They always have headline offers like this, but on most return flights you have to pay £12 online check-in (to check in using your own computer, with the alternative being £80 at the airport!), £30+ to take a suitcase, £10 debit/credit card fee, and on some flights taxes/fees including a wheelchair levy...

If there are any problems you cannot email them as they do not provide an email address, so you have to call their premium rate number.

Also, Ryanair still haven't paid many people's compensation claims from last year's ash cloud and most people have either given up or are taking them to the Dublin court I understand.

Wanted to go for a 3 quid flight but they want 12 quid each for check in!
#31
As it says in the title, some do some don't. Funny aren't they. You need to look for promo fares 'free online check in'. Probably few left as finishes soon.
#32
No thanks O'Leary, you've single handedly reduced the travelling public to cargo! Lifes too short to fly Ryan Air - anytime! Glad they got the big fine for refusing to meet their statutory obligations for stranded passengers during the Icelandic Ash incident, nice one Italy €2m heh! heh!

Hehe, seen that puppy before :D This is where I saw the deal (travelzoo), so may help with poss routes for the £6 return.

Here are some of our top routes, all available for £6 return, including tax.

•London Stansted to Faro
•Liverpool to Stockholm Skavsta
•London Stansted to Grenoble
•Birmingham to Düsseldorf (Weeze)
•London Stansted to Bologna
•Bristol to Beziers
The sale ends at midnight on Wednesday, 26 January.

I'm glad they got a fine really, as bmibaby did this to me and were a nightmare. Never got a penny back. Force majuere doesn't come into statutory obligations, but still sent a letter to that effect (when they got round to it).

In a way you have to take your hat off to Ryan air - he's made profits where others have failed in today's climate. My problem is that:-

1) Mud sticks, when it goes wrong or bad, don't expect too much assistance from Ryan air. As one TV journalist put it, when the flight to xxx costs less than the car parking, then when it goes pear shaped, don't expect them to bail you out! Usually in the case of Ryan air, they won't.

2) Why have silly stupid stealth charges, like £5 per leg, per person if you don't pay with a stupid pre-paid Mastercard!!! Who has one of them??? Yes we could all go and get one, charge it up etc, but most people won't (or don't understand what one is even) and Ryan air know this, so on average they will profit this extra £££. This annoys me, why not be genuine and up front and take all debit/credit cards without a ridiculous extra charge.

That said, it's a good deal if all goes well and it is cheap - very cheap.

Couldn't agree nore Neil. O' Leary summed up the ethos of the business well when he said 'What part of no f***ing refund don't you understand'. Airlines, no, no-frills airlines, only partake in as much transparency as they are forced to. Personally, my prepaid Master is loaded up - but yeah, most won't. I am doing my dissertation on the no-frills brigade this year - on the subject of transpency! I must start it soon, haha.

You can still choose the 'no insurance required' option somewhere between Latvia and Lithuania.... how obvious their intentions are - and that's just the start of the many trickery aces up the baggy wizard's sleeve, lol

Just booked Stansted to 'some remote part of Germany pretending to be Dusseldorf, but really isn't' for me and a friend for £6 return each all in. flying out at 7.35am coming home at 8.30pm....furthest i've ever travelled for a day trip! But why not!!!
