I saw that channel 4 programme a couple of years ago, it's only a matter of time, as such I wouldn't fly with 'em even if Michael O'Leary himself gave me a 'crap for free' toilet token!

I'm voting hot.

Last month I purchased a voucher for £30 and I've got 2 adults going to Dublin for 4 days on the £6 flight deals and all it's cost me is the £30 voucher.

If you play the system, you can get some good deals with Ryanair.

May 20th - Newcastle to Dublin £6 each x 2 = £12
May 23rd - Dublin to Newcastle £6 each x2 = £12

To avoid the admin card charges purchase a £25 travel voucher for £30 and use that voucher to pay for the £24 flights. Works out at £15 each instead of £22 (£10 on top each for the admin card fees)

my son and his mates travelled to Dublin and back with Ryanair last year for 99p each! (all taxes etc included!) don't think you can complain about that...!

Ryanair are OK for day trippers. Serious travellers should avoid.

the problem is they charge more in taxesand charges than most other airlines charge for the flight and taxes

Ryan were ok til the ash scare, then their total lack of customer service and ' sod you ' culture showed, they sent me a cancellation email and nothing else. Then i logged on to rebook the site said ' click on the button on the left to rebook free ' , fine except there was NO button . ended up paying an arm and a leg to fly BA at short notice.

It has taken them 2 weeks to even acknowledge my refund claim.

they are great until something goes wrong,

Use ryanair for perhaps 6-7 return trips to europe every year - have had no problems at all.
(As a tip - make sure you pay with Fairfx - no charges - for either transferring money to card or spending, as long as its sterling)
As a tall chap, I appreciate their legroom - more than that given on BA.

Oh, the only annoying thing is the predictable fanfare when you arrive at your destination, announcing "yet another on-time Ryanair flight" . This makes me laugh, as last year for example an expected flight time was 1.5 hrs - and they used to arrive 10-15 late. Now they say its an expected 2 hour flight - and keep saying they are early!!! lol
Its not a problem - I know in this example the flight time has always been, and perhaps will always be about 1hr 45mins

Not off EVERY ticket, none of the flights I want are included.

Remember, upto 25% off all fairs can mean most fares are not reduces.

Still a good deal if you get a reasonable fare for the flight you want.

Title is wrong so COLD.

UP TO 25% off is NOT 25%. Too much listening to politicians possibly? :)

The details:

Travel Period: Tue 18 May 10 - Wed 30 Jun 10

Flight must be purchased: 14 Days

Sorry this has been voted cold simplex. Next time keep an eye out for when the flights are £4 each way or even less on occasions. People should bear in mind that if they can travel light & use a pre paid mastercard to book : http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/575145/beat-ryanair-cc-charges-free-fairfx?t=575145
Ryanair still are the cheapest airline going. Just can't please some people though :?
