I know it's illogical but you're not looking for flights which appear as £0.00, you want ones which are £0.01 as these include taxes and online check in. This is all you'll pay if you use a Visa Electron or Entropay.

For Stansted to Pisa, these are available departing on Wed 2nd or Thurs 3rd and returning on Wed 9th or for a daytrip on Thurs 17th. Not the greatest selection but they do exist. Other destinations have greater availability. If you're after a mid-week break I suggest Bremen from Stansted to take in the historic city complete with German Christmas Market :)

Edit: This needs unexpiring as the duplicate (posted about a minute earlier) has now been removed

the claim of "free" is twaddle, it says "Fares don't incl optional Fees/Charges" but there is now a compulsary £5 check-in fee.

Some of the 1p flights include check-in, Taxes and all fees .

Do a search. You will find some flights (I found one going to Dublin on 24th November from Stansted)

Free Online Check in Adult 0.01 GBP Tue, 24 Nov 09 FlightFR 203 06:30 Depart

Go through: No taxes, no Check in

Why is this expired?

The £5 check in fee is actually FREE if you choose the flights that are in the offer. You can genuinely get flights for 2p return! Why do people slate this without trying to find the actual deal?! They're not just going to give flights for free to everyone... to be honest, you do generally need to spend a little time on it and prepare to be flexible.

Saying that, I went to Sweden last week (Sat to Mon) for 2p. I spent nothing on the plane. The whole trip cost me 2p plus a £6 taxi transfer for two at the other end!

I'm going to the fjords in Norway next month (Fri to Mon). This is also costing me 2p plus a hire car cost. :)

You're right, it isn't free, its 1p for a flight from A to B - what a con!

If you open your eyes and read the T&C of the offer, read the guide posted in the first post you'll see that you can get flights for 1p each including all taxes/charges etc

here we go with the usual complaints!! :x Gosh Y dont people read before they post comments.
Such people just dont learn.

Ive booked so many flights for 2p return!! as have soo many other people so those who say its not possible should really try n use that brain of theirs and concentrate a bit more if its not too hard for them!! :whistling:

Ive just booked 2 return flights to Girona in december for 4 whole pence
#12
Myself and friends fly regularely to Dublin for a day or two, always paying no more than £6 max including all taxes and fees (I pay with Visa Electron).

You need to be flexible with dates and times for these offers. It's also important not to take out any extras offered during the booking process, such as SMS notifications, priority boarding and insurance.

It is much more difficult to claim Quidco or Topcashback than booking a cheap Ryan Air flight :) - at least for me.

well chuffed..have just booked two return flights to Faro for me and my other half for £20.00 flying from Prestwick....couldnt get the 1p flights going to suit my dates so had to pay a whole £9.99 each flying out and 1p coming back....have also rep'd the person who gave us the tip about the Entropay card as i hadnt heard about it up until now,so as well as getting cheap flights,i didnt even have to pay any handling fees on them..niceone!

I've also used Entropay - you do pay a small fee (about 50p on each £10 you load onto the Entropay card) - but rather that than £5 each way each person with ryanair.

Some good deals there - 2p return (plus whatever it'll cost for paying by card)

One of these days I'll give them a go.....
#17
Just bought two flights to Dublin in December. Not even sure I can get the time off work yet, but hey ho, it would only be 2p down the drain anyway.

Anticipating a cheap deal, I got an entropay card at the weekend, current balance £19.98 :)
#18
Got Glasgow to Malaga for a week in December for 2p return.
#19
Taxes going up on Sunday... :(
#20
I hate Ryanair, but this is a good deal for anyone able to toelrate them.
#21
It's marmite time again - oppinions will be pollarised as people either love or hate the Ryanair deals.

I hate marmite but I love the Ryanair deals on here. Just very annoying when the negative people with a bee in their bonnet start icing the deal..
#22
Like I said Moby, its good for you if you are willing to tolerate them. Its just not for me.
#23
I'm not sure whether this has been mentioned on these threads before for Ryanair, but I've recently opened a Halifax Easycash account http://www.halifax.co.uk/bankaccounts/easycash.asp that allows you to have a Visa Electron card. I've transferred a small amount in there, so when deals do come up, I'm able to use it to book flights via Ryanair, or even any other companies that decide to charge you extortianate fees for using debit/credit cards for purchases. I can't take any credit for this as it was highlighted in Martyn Lewis' website.

Love them or hate them, it appears a huge number of people use them. They are Europe's largest airline.

I guess the decision is quite easy really. A return flight for 2p or a return flight for £326? Decisions, decisions...

Perhaps people just love to hate them really? It's a British mentality it seems. Hate any company/individual who has made a success of themselves.
#25
This is great, just play them at their own game. VISA Electron (Halifax Easycash Account) I transfer from my HSBC account and by the time I log onto my Easycash account the money is there (instant transfer) Hand luggage only.
Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.
#26
Love these deals ....

....just to see all the thickies moaning! :D
#27
Im at payment but cant see an option for Entropay. Can any one help?!
#28
Heat and Rep added. Thanks for the Entropay tip. Even the voucher method incurrs a charge now so Entropay works well and you can use it within 5 mins of setting it up. I booked some £6 flights which for were coming in at around £4.33 (33% discount and free online checkin [WTF - thanks!]). Obviously not part of this deal but worth a mention still I guess!
#29
Entropay = Visa Electron
#30
This is misleading this time - they are normally available when ryainair have this sale on, but i have searched a few routes from glasgow over the whole available period and the fares simply aren't available.

Entropay = Visa Debit

Thanks, but when you click on visa debit it puts £20 on the charge, sorry to be dim Im just not getting it

Also, it is £20 for an infant, but 1p for a child, can I book him in as a child? Obviously he would sit on my knee for take off and landing etc as usual.
#32
What idiot expired this.. I can still see 1p flights on there.
#33
I have just come back from Dublin. I had return 1p flights. Yes all i paid return was 2p. There was no problems getting there and back. Flights on time. Accepted my boarding cards. perfect service. I travelled early on a tuesday and came back late on thursday using east midlands airport. Great service honestly. No CATCH unless u forget ur boarding cards or have a case too large to carry on.

THANKS RYANAIR

Any one able to offer me any advice?

Some cracking deals.........heat and rep OP!
#36
You need to use Visa Electron in order to avoid outrageous fees. Go to Entropay and set up and account (takes 5 mins) and then you can use the Visa Electron option.
#37
[QUOTE=hels123smiles]Any one able to offer me any advice?
