Ryanair Seat Sale - 1 Million Seats From £1.00/1 euro

Slightly different to the usual Ryanair sale, starting tomorrow, prices start at £1 and increase £1 per day to a top sale price of £12 on Dec. 21st.

As usual with Ryanair, limited routes and availability but don't think there are any blackouts on this one. Other info as per their release:

"Ryanair, Europes largest low fares airline, today (9th Dec) began the countdown to Christmas by launching its 12 Days of Christmas - 1 MILLION Seat Sale, which kicks off tomorrow for just 1 euro and increases by 1 euro each day until Sunday 21st December when fares peak at 12 euro one way including taxes.

Ryanairs 12 Days of Christmas Seat Sale fares, which include all taxes and charges, offer seats for travel from 7th January to 12th February on 250 routes across Ryanairs European network."

This will most likely equate to £1-£12 on the UK site but still a good deal IMO if you can get a flight for under £5, otherwise no better than standard Ryanair deals.

*Update 15.18hrs, 09/12/08: Some routes appear to now be on sale at the £1 price. Cannot offer a list of destinations as yet, this will doubtless appear on Ryanair.com later tonight, so it is trial and error to find out, use dates as above (Jan 7- Feb 12).

Thanks to Big Boy for this update!

*Update 15.33hrs, 09/12/08: From Prestwick; Belfast, Bournemouth, Charleroi, Derry, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt Hahn, Gothenburg City, Krakow, London Stansted, Oslo Torp, Paris Beauvais, Pisa, Shannon, Stockholm Skavsta, Turin and Wroclaw are ALL showing up with availability at the £1 fare! Better than the usual selection then, remember Ryanair availability for promotions is usually only Mon-Thu and Sat.

Number of posts, I think it's every 100 or 200 to move on, 1000 and your a solar flare. Also rep has a bearing in some way too.

I've given you rep for this post, Thanks :)

Trying to book 4 tickets to Dublin from Manchester with no luck. Looking to go around 16th jan for the weekend.

They are asking for a £40 handling charge !! is there a way round this ?

EDIT: It appears you need a visa electron card for this to work.

I only have Meastro.

You cannot fault Ryanair, not even at these prices. I flew with them at the weekend on another of my crazy day trips from London Gatwick to Dublin. Tickets were £0.02 each plus £4.00 per passenger per flight for debit/credit card processing. These fees are astronomical compared to other airlines but £8.02 for a return flight is still superb. Aer Lingus and British Airways both operate flights from Gatwick to Dublin but at much higher prices - typically starting at around £50.00 for Aer Lingus and £80.00 for British Airways.

just got back from the last free one yesterday
dublin is very expensive though but worth a visit
from nottingham east midlands to dublin
didnt prebook parking so got stung £21.40 car park fees for the day
(well 4am to 10pm)
in the long stay, short stay would of been £25 in the short stay
when i got back checked out airparks
and would of been £16.99
but if id of pre-booked on the internet airparks would of only been £4.10
SO MAKE SURE YOU PRE-BOOK ONLINE

"Applicable Days: after 1200 Mon / all day Tues & Wed / before 1200 Thurs / after 1200 Sat "

You're buying normal tickets not special offer tickets because you're travelling on none offer days (assuming you're travelling out on Friday or before 12 on Saturday - there are no cheap tckets on Sunday)

Look out for the fares that say 'No Taxes' NOT 'Regular Fare' or 'Special Offer', those ones are still subject to taxes.

Sheesh £24 (plus VAT I assume) to check a bag in what the hell??

Just came back from Dublin with the other £1 deals from Ryanair. A word of warning, it is not cheap at all! £150 hotel for 2 nights, cheapest way into city an your hotel is by Aircoach at 14EUR p/p return. An to add insult to injury, 5.50EUR for a pint and 8.00EUR for a Malibu & Coke (Single!) in Temple Bar. Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely city and very busy but the saving you make on a flight with Ryanair will soon be offset. If you decide to go, I recommend Kilmainham Gaol tour and Guiness Storehouse (That's a given!).

Can't seem to find any inbound flights with taxes included. This deal isn't the best.
#27
Just be very, very careful with Ryanair before you click on that final "debit payment from my account" button.

Check the totals as they have an awful habit of dropping in some sort of fee at exactly this point.

Otherwise, go for those bargain flights!

Make it so!

I also went to Dublin for 2p return thanks to Ryanair. Hotel we got for £50 a night through expedia. The cheapest way into the city is using the 'Dublin Bus' service, the number 16A cost us only 2 euro each way and the stop is right outside the terminals.
As for the price of drinks, well expensive. 3 pints of Kilkenny in temple bar area cost us 18 euros and with the **** exchange rate at the moment, that equals to £16.20, (£5.40 a pint).

But other than that, a lovely place and well earned break :-D
