One day only MY A*SE! lol. Ryanair offers are always extended at least 3 times :-p

Also, check out these booking restrictions...

after 12:00 Mon
all day Tues/Wed
before 12:00 Thurs
after 12:00 Sat
(subject to availability)

Travel Period: Mon 01st Sep 08 - Fri 31st Oct 08 HOWEVER.... Blackout period 17th Oct '08 - 03rd Nov '08 from UK only.

So, the offer is really only valid on days when there is a full moon, coninsiding with a factor 4.8 (not 4.9 or 4.7) richter scale earthquake in Taiwan AND ryanair have the flights available, which is most unlikely.

Lol

Some good rates on there...seems to work in the October school half term dates too(!)... managed to price up return trip from Brum to Oslo for £26 return (without extra baggage obviously)
#9
Anyone know which "Stockholm" airport is better, neither of the two seem to actually be anywhere near Stockholm.

RyanAir disgust me by advertising smaller airports in towns up to 50 miles from main cities, in the name of the more notable city.

Stockholm for example, the actual airport is in Nyköping. This town is 1hr 15 mins and some 104km from Stockholm!!! Surely this is false advertising?!

It could be the Swedish government calling this airport "Stockholm Nyköping Airport" like the British government is calling Luton airport "London Luton Airport" when it's actually 30 miles away from London :whistling:

I agree with you about Ryanair though, they're ****!

Got up to the precipice then backed out.

Ok. return flight got for a quid. Outgoing was free, with taxes £63 in total. £32 for me and wife to take one bag.

Ok, £96 in total. Then £16 charge for every card apart from a 'visa electron' which we do not have was the final straw. £112. Not that great a deal.

Sod it. We won't go. Lol.

You should try Oslo - it's nowhere near Oslo and you have to get a coach for 50 odd miles! That said, we are flying from 'London' Stansted? Not my idea of London!
#16
Took the bait, found cheap enough flights at shorter notice for £19.99 each, bill ends up over £130 quid. Sod off Ryanair.

Hy, sorry i'm not sure, basically i went to the deal link from HUKD and Ryanair had filled in some of the form already, i then just chose dates according to their rules, outbound flight said £0 (so i thought that must exclude taxes) outbound was only £1
went thorugh to next page in form nad tax was added on outboundflight but it let me change to another time same day, for £1
i.e total cost £2 with no taxes
I haven't checked out on that though, i was just taking a look

Ryanair map asking for me to Install Silverlight from microsoft, but it then says that my browser (firefox) does not support it, any one else got this problem x thanks
#20
Better check the hotel accom first - seems hard to find anywhere central for under 100 quid a night :( in september. Anyone know any cheap Swedish chains (like chavelodge) that are unlikely to be on expedia and the like.
#21
Usual Ryanair, but can certainly get some good flights. Booked 2 returns to Gothenburg City (airport fairly close) for £4 return - plus £16 booking fee!!!!! Fly on 11th of October, back on the 14th.

Twenty quid for a return is not too bad, and if beer is too expensive can get the boat over to Denmark!!
#22
Anybody ever purchased flights with Ryanair gift vouchers?

Would this get you around the silly card fees?

It may be a bit l8 to get one in time for this offer, but this HUKD post by drdanielmacdonald might help

I have been living in Gothenburg for the last 6 months, the airport there is about the size of a garden shed although only 30mins (60sek / £5) to the centre. Much prettier woman there than the capital as everyone is actually Swedish  Just a heads up guys :whistling:

Anybody know about the gift voucher idea to avoid card fees?

The classic one is ryanair's 'Vienna' airport, it's actually in Bratislava in Slovakia, you have to take a coach across the boarder into Austria to get to Vienna, lol.
#31
Its a good deal, transfers from stockholm skavstka costs around £22 return by bus, but they run every half an hour.
#32
Booked!! Off to Sweden Sept 3rd - 8th

Staying in a hotel near the airport on the first night as my flight gets in at midnight. Train in the morning to Stockholm (about 9 quid)

Hostels from there

Flights were £26 return in total and thats including a £16 card fee!!

Can't wait
#33
Booked too!

£2 is all it cost me, no card charges or anything (Visa Debit card). Brum to Stockholm early September.

Amazing deal, must be what they term a 'loss leader' as Ryanair are paying my taxes for me!

Now to sort out some hotels and stuff, and find out more about Stockholm (I know nothing, but couldn't resist at less than the price of a pint ;-)
#34
Went to Torp last year for a day trip 2p with ryanair, Torp was quite nice and quiet easy to get into torp town and train station by local bus ( I was the only one on it),traveled up and down the coast on the train.

Luxary good ,fags and booze is very expesive, was going to buy a big mac but it was about 7 quid!

The only thing spoiling the trip was the car parking at Stanstead (15 quid for the day) and a que of at least 1 hour coming ack through customs at stanstead at about midnight.

Might go to Sweden instead and get some duty free Snus! (flavoured tobacco you put in you upper lip)

Last 2 trips I`ve been on with ryanair I have put visa electron even thought its a normal visa and its accepted it.They might have ironed out this glitch, but dont harm anyone to try it
#37
Went to stockholm (skavsta) last month - took 80 mins on the transfer coach but that's nowt really is it. Only went for 48 hours (one night) but absolutely loved the place.

Problem was driving down (and parking at stansted) took more money than flying halfway to europe!
#38
 Thanks, I have just booked Stansted to Billund for 2 people for £4 return at the end of September. I have now just seen the £16 debit card charge which was a bit annoying, but for £20 return it is still a good deal. :)
#39
Hot flight prices but Ryanair are getting really greedy with the whole charges thing now. :x

Ha ha...just come back from Norwich City's pre-season tour in Sweden - went over on Ryanair and stayed two nights in Gothenburg, one in Malmo and one in Falkenberg. And yes, the girls are pretty in Gothenburg!

We obviously got stung on the taxi's though - Gothenburg City to Central Station was 330sek on the way out and 420sek on the way back. D'oh...!
