Ryobi 140cc Petrol Self-Propelled Lawn Mower down in price to £111.98 (with the extra 20% off).

This seems to in warehouse stores only and limited stocks for the few days of the 20% deal.

Dont know much about the mower but here is a link to Ryobi own website where they are selling what looks to be the same one for £259.99 (http://www.ryobi-direct.com/acatalog/Ryobi_RLM140SP_Self_Propelled_Lawn_Mower.html)

Hope this is of use to someone

Bought one of these last week, but was told the 20 per cent was already taken off the price and in actual fact the price I paid was £139.99, so I would check before buying.

As I bought one yesterday afternoon and it came up on the receipt at this price, I am quite certain it was £111.98..... it was also labeled up in store at this price as well...

(not used the thing yet - still boxed - the heavens opened and put a stop to opening it up etc).

I think so, it was a large blade - much bigger than the budget models in store. (As I'm not at home I cannot measure it).

Bought one of these from the screwfix deal last month, have had no issues with it,just one thing check it has engine oil in it and its up to level as mine was either very low or empty so had to fill it before use.

Pretty much all engined products come without any oil. There's normally quite a few "fill up oil first" stickers/labels.

Just called my local store (Southend) and they say they have loads of these available but they are £139.99 and do not qualify for the 20% discount. However, it still seems an excellent price compared to other sellers. I'll be going at lunchtime to get one I think.

My Father-in-Law picked one of these up for me last Wednesday and with the 10% discount was £125.98. He also told me about the 20% discount over the weekend although at my local store it scanned at £127.98 with the 20% discount!
Not too sure what's going on here but it still seems like a great deal for that sort of money.
Mine's still in the box at the momnent but it looks like a study rugged machine even if you pay 140 for it.
I't's also available through Screwfix at £160ish.

I went yesterday to a B and Q warehouse in Coventry and they were advertising these at £111.98 (including the 20% off) and had loads in. If they've charged you more complain.

Just got back from B & Q Southend. They had about 10 boxes on the floor, priced at £139 (reduced from £160) but scanned at the till at £114.98! :)

There doesn't appear to be any consistency to the B & Q pricing.

The offer is only on until today.....

Ive had mine for 2 years now and at £139.00 its still a bargain. You wont find better for that price.
Just look around and sub £150 will be a plastic body and an 90/120cc engine.
The Ryobi, has metal body a 140cc engine, proper grass mulcher(not plastic), power driven (if you have big lawn and wanna use this feature) and if memory serves 5 cutting heights

I work for B&Q (for my sins) and can confirm that this was £111.98 with the 20% off but that finished yesterday (Monday). The price has however been reduced to £114.98 now and if you did go on a Wednesday you would get another 10% off with a Diamond card. I bought this mower myself last year and would definitely recommend it.

they oil come with a small amount of oil to prevent seizure....if they were topped up then if someone put the box up the wrong way then the oil would get in the wrong places
