Cant get an image up.

Its the ONE + with 2 batteries
#2
Its says combi but the description says Hammer/no, but it then says depth in masonry 13 mm. 13mm chuck is quite usefull and not usual in this price range. (usually 10mm chuck)

Exactly the same at Screwfix £154.99

Direct Link

Thats not the same

1.3 AmpHrs not 1.7
#13
I would have ordered but until two weeks ago I had 7x cordless drills til I got rid of two now have 2x Ryobi, 1x B&D 1x Bosch and a Bosch 3.5v.

Cant justify the spend at mo.

Will wait for NimH to become realistically priced.

The Ryobi One+ NiCad batteries are all 1.7 AH

The new Lithium batteries are 2.4 AH for the thicker ones (same sahape as the old NiCads, and the slim Lithium are 1.4 AH

There are no 1.3 AH batteries for the One+ system

Edit:

It seems that B&Q have specially commissioned 1.3 AH One+ batteries. See my post later on

It DOES have hammer action, I bought it earlier

I sent you a message asking what type batteries it had & whether it came with accessories?

IE Nicad 1.7 etc

I got one in Gravesend. For 49 quid its a bargain. It has 2 batteries and it is hammer action despite the description, plus 13mm chuck. Most cordless drills only go up to 10mm. It comes in a big tool style case and has a roll of screwdriver bits and drills, masonry and metal.Even if its cheap because of being discontinued its still worth the money. My ten year old Bosch has duff batteries and new ones are £75 each. At this price the Bosch is not cost effective to replace.. Trust me...GET ONE! Not only that, unlike the Bosch the batteries in the Ryobi screw together so when they pack up you can open them up and replace the cells in them easily or upgrade to NIMH. The Bosch ones are sealed and therefore a bin job.

What does it say on the batteries?

1.3, 1.7, 2.4, 3.0 etc etc

Got one reserved in Doncaster...just dont need one but it seems like a bit of a bargain...

Is it this one:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ryobi-18v-cordless-combi-drill-with-accessories-kit-half-price-64-98-b-q/853367

Says it has a slow charger (8h hours!) with no power off feature once charged...not so good.

8 hr recharge surely not. Even most cheepos are 3 hours.

This is effectively a cheapo, ryobi not exactly the best make are they, good budget range at best.

I was looking for a new batt drill, but think i will get a dewalt, bosch or makita instead

You will never get a 18v Dewalt bosch or Makita at this price

I don't believe so, i am no expert on these, but from my observations, the One + series starts CD.. not CH

I have just been looking at the ones with CD at the front the One + drills and the drill units look identical to the one in this deal, I wonder if its just very minor power differences.

Yeah, perhaps, it could just be the battery and charger that is different, i read that the batteries are interchangeable on the one range, it maybe the reason this one is at a reduced price, this deal has 2 batteries included, i just don't see it being interchangeables ones at that price.

hmm ok...

Did you buy one of these?

If so, can you please confirm how long battery takes to charge, or at least what it says in the user guide for charging time?

Isn't this the same one for £45 direct from Ryobi.

Shows 2 batteries with one hour charge and full spec.

Not sure, as it says 'Naked' , to me this means price is without batteries, unless these drills usually come with clothes

Also, you may notice

People also bought:
1 - Ryobi 2 x 18v Battery Pack And Charger BCP1817/2SM

They want 70 quid just for the 1 hour batteries and the charger to go with it

I expect you can choose your battery and charger independently when buying directly

You get what you are given with this b and q deal, and i reckon it will be the cheap slow charger

sounds good idea -- so many drills and a wait for NimH should not hurt or buy a makita or dewalt but this is a good deal
#37
As above.. Model on box = chi18022na40
#38
I'm in b and q right now looking at this drill, it is 8-10 hours charge time, the battery is 1.3ah itis infact a Ryobi One + drill, it comes with nice tough plastic tool box with a 40 piece drill and screw bit set in a fabric pouch, model number is CHI18022NA40, I have bought one, it's a decent drill for the price, I'll put up some pics when I get home
