This is where I regret posting.

Just ordered one of these and now someone will come on here and tell me a) they are no good or b) they can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Actually I doubt either of these are likely but I'm holdng my breath.

Go thru Quidco for this price (6%)

It comes complete with stand (Worth £30) so £40 odd for this saw is, in my view a steal.

The reason for the reduction is Ryobi have a later model with ali table and therefore no need for the side supports - But Who Cares.

By the way you won't get a deliivery till Monday now.

Wow this is a bargain! I want one but got no space for it! :-(

i have one virtually identicle , i think its a mass produced saw that makers then add there name to. its a very good saw for the money - cuts/rips up to approx 70mm which is very handy.

I've had this exact saw for about 18 months now. It is excellent. I paid £120 delivered at the time so this is a great price.
#8
nice one, i got a 10% off code too!!

This is definitely bargain-aliscious.

I bought the exact same Draper model from Tesco when it was redcued to about £75 (from something like £150)...it didn't even come with a stand. (the draper stand is about £25) It won't win any quality awards (the ripping fence isn't that solid), but for this price it's a fantastic bargain.

I believe the new one has a separate adjustment for saw angle too, By the way.

I actually only needed to buy a new blade for my existing table saw.

And fortunately I had a £10 voucher to use and I should also be able to sell my old Cheapo one (bought 4 years ago from French Supermarket) in the free classifieds for £20-25.

So if all goes well i get Blade (£10) Voucher (£10) Return on old saw (£25) total £45 off the price of £73 = £28 - The cost of the stand. Bargain!!

Was in Screwfix today and saw this - was going to post. Great price for a brand name table saw and stand (and when I was in they gave me a 10% voucher valid from 4th Jan - if you risk waiting they may email out a code to their customers)

Ooops meant to say 4th Jan...

Looks like a good deal to me, for a budget table saw! :)
Unfortunately, I don't have a need for one! :(

I tend to buy cheaper powertools, specific to the job in hand. That way it doesn't really matter if the tool breaks after a job or two..It reallt depends how you value your time.
(For example I bought a £20 SDS drill for putting in a boiler flue. It did the job in five minutes...to have done it with an ordinary drill would have cost me more than £20 in wasted time.)

Anyone got a 10% voucher code for Screwfix ?

Thanks

does anyone know if the sides or any part of this folds down to make it smaller for storage?

Not FOLD down but I believe the extension wings can be removed. (almost certain in fact)

Other than that a loaded skip carefully lowered onto the top will make a neat job of compacting it for you.

I bought an SDS drill from Agros for £15 a couple of years ago as part of a clearance, not the best and I broke the handle when removing some fence posts. Aldi tends to have one which pops up every now and again for ~£30 with a 3 year warranty and apparently its quite good.
