Just a quick note on Ultrasonic Measures... they don't like long distances or object in a room.

If you need to use a measuring device on a daily/weekly role please please please buy a laser measure eg. Leica Disto.

The down side... the cheapest laster measure is around £100.

So £18.44 for this is a much better buy for the odd occasion where ur tape measure is to tricky to use of not long enough ;)
Nice price. I can't believe how much they are in some other places.

I got mine a couple of years ago even cheaper based on a deal you posted then

Still working fine. You'll see from a post then that ultrasonic measures do not cope well with distances over 15m, which is further than the declared range of this unit as 12.5m They actually will measure further than this, but accuracy is not guaranteed. Within the stated range, they are accurate to +/- 0.5% +/- 1 digit.

I'm not sure I've ever needed to measure an internal distance greater than 12.5m (ca. 41 feet), but if required, this device allows you to add 2 or more distances together, so all you need to do is split long distances down to 12.5m or less using a temporary barrier if necessary.
