Additional information regarding Ultrasonic Measures
Ultrasonic measures are not as accurate as laser measures. Any reference to laser in the description of ultrasonic measures relates to a laser pointer and not a laser measure. As a general rule ultrasonic measures usually do not cope with distances over 15m and become less accurate the further away an object is.

Ultrasonics are not suitable for extremely accurate measurements and give a more general measurement rather than a precise one. They also require a fair size surface to bounce a signal off and small or varied surfaces will not give a good result.

They are suitable for indoor use only and are ideal for room measurements where large flat walls are being pointed at. In all other cases a laser measure should be considered.
