It is the full length, but according to the ad in today's paper, that is 400g, not 800g. Good price at 35p

Just a shame that the bakers at the Morrisons near me are rubbish and tend to overcook everything

Wish i had known,i went to Tesco Whitfield on Sunday & they had none,i didn't even mind paying full price..I had nothing to put my Tesco 2 for 3 cheese deal Gorgonzola onto. It's now sitting in my fridge "humming".

If only the bakery staff at the Ince store (Wigan) could learn how to make them without burning them.

Not keen on Morrisons bakery, not the best supermarket for these products!

These supermarket sticks are as French as a pint of Guiness. They're part baked and frozen on an industrial estate somewhere then kept in the store's freezer to be reheated as 'fresh today' when needed. That's why they change from bland to inedible in less than about 6 hours.

I find they dont go moldy. just rock hard so they are good for using for breadcrumb and croutons if left over. i use the leftovers to make a tuscan tomato salad.

You are actually incorrect. Please get your facts correct before posting! Morrisons french sticks are NOT part baked but actually a frozen pre-proved dough that is transported to store frozen, then baked on site. What you are referring to is the part-baked frozen bread and rolls which require a 10 minute warm up which are completely different. This isa HOT deal.(_;)

The point is exactly the same - no genuine French boulangerie (that's a bread shop if you're struggling) would use 'frozen pre-proved dough'. They'd be out of business within a week if they did.

If you believe this stuff is good bread I have the deepest pity for you.

Cheap but bland, can't beat a tasty tiger or salt n'pepper French stick, the ones from Tesco just seem to taste better to me.
