Until Wed 24 Aug, BT newbies can get the Entertainment Plus + Unlimited BT Infinity 1 + Weekend Calls* TV and up-to-52Mb fibre broadband bundle, which comes with a decent number of channels. The deal is through Cable.co.uk.

It also includes weekend calls and gives access to all BT Sport channels. It's on a 12-month contract.

BT TV Sarter and fibre broadband. It's £12.50 for 12 months. It's then £36/mth once the 12 month contract ends. See full details
Line rental. The cheapest way is to pay £205.08 upfront for a year. Alternatively you can pay monthly – it's £18.99/mth.
£49 set-up fee. Plus £10 if you take BT TV Starter There is also a £7.95 router p&p cost.
Free phone line. If you need a new phone line (eg, if you don't have one or you're switching from cable), it'll be installed free.
BT Sport. BT TV customers get access to the full range of BT Sport channels, which have coverage of some Premier League and all Champions League games. HD is free for three months, it's then £6/mth on top of the cost of this bundle.
£125 Mastercard BUT you must claim it. Frustratingly you need to register for the Mastercard via this online form once the broadband's activated, it's then posted within 45 days.
The total cost of the bundle including line rental upfront, setup and router is £472.03 for the year, equivalent to £39.34/mth (or £494.83 if you pay line rent monthly, equivalent to £41.24/mth).

If you factor in the £125 Mastercard, the total cost is £347.03 for the year, equivalent to £28.92/mth or £369.83 if you pay line rent monthly – equiv £30.82/mth.

If you don't care about TV then get the basic one thats free plus £10 set up fee this gives you BT Sport but will save £50 a year saving £4.16

TCB confirms you get the £125 card and also £162.75 from it!

So £162.75 = £13.56 off making it £15.56 or £17.56 if paying monthly
This is a cracking deal for infiniy plus BT TV plus BT Sport cheaper than the line rental cost on its own

The cable.co.uk rates are not available through the tcb or quidco links... How do you envision combining these?

I suppose it's a matter of personal experience. I've NEVER once encountered a problem with them.

I feel you pain. It was never once for me as well - always took at least two attempts to resolve a problem with VM.

Yeah I renewed BT got a great deal and then they hiked prices and now the bill is £75 a month. They also were only us £59 so we ran up a huge debt that they decided to collect with no notice and no grace period to pay it. Yes I will readily admit I should have checked my account but I didn't and as the £59 came out every month and I received no correspondence to inform me of the price increase, I never thought there was a problem until I owed £80 and had to pay up then and there.... Horrible people at BT wouldn't deal with them again!
