good find though if you can get any.

Alright if you don't mind the atrocious d-pad. I've only ever had one third-party controller for my ps2 and it made things unplayable. the buttons stuck out too much. Unless you play rubbish games or you're buying for a small child, get the official one!

Thanks for the feedback guys and girls :)

Excellent availability in Northern Ireland ... at time of writing there is stock in all 10 N.I stores.

Top deal thanks.

Bought 4 today to replace the others going faulty after much abuse by young children.

Interesting coz we have a controller like this and much prefer the "rocker style" d-pad over the genuine controller with the 4 seperate buttons - much easier to control/change direction with

Each to their own I guess

Thanks OP

Bought a cheap silver PS2 controller from Argos about 2 years ago - that one is still going strong, the only minor issue is that the lead isn't very long (compared to the official one).

Ordered another one anyway.

How is it half price? When has £2.49 ever been half of £6.97... lol cmon Argos brush up on ur mathematics.

Regardless of Argos being unable to count... hot deal for someone... just sold an official one on ebay for £15.01 (brand new), wonder if there wud be a demand for these?

this wouldve been perfect, except they seem to be out of stock everywhere around me :(

Two of those for the kids will do nicely. Now they can play Lego Star Wars at the same time and not fight (as much...)

Got a PES6 edition last last year with PES6. It looks quite good but the D pad is not very responsive but I use the analog sticks anyway so it's good for you analoguers!

I got a couple of PS1 one's from Gamestation for 50p each. I believe the PS2 one's are £4.99.

I will only use official one's, most of the others are rubbish
