After loving games like Dungeon Siege on the PC and the old Diablo games, and also the console versions of Baldurs Gates, Champions of Norrath etc, I thought this game would be right up my street.

I was wrong, its boring, missions are long winded uneventful tasks, consisting of mainly running from one place to the other with no real sense of purpose. Weapons are useless and all very similar, spells seem underpowered and convoluted, takes ages to do anything, really not fun at all, a poor attempt at the above, and I would rather play Dungeon Siege 2 even to this day, graphics are better and the gameplay far exceeds this one.

Its a shame, as it does support (local) co-op on the same machine, which in my opinion is a major contributing factor to the entertainment provided by these games, but even such an inclusion as this does not save it from being inevitably consigned to the bargain bin.

Good price though, so heat for the deal, just a heads up for anyone else thinking of buying it.

Heat added as a good price. I enjoyed the game for a while but it does get a bit repetitive.

I disagree with both comments posted so far! :p

I think its a cracking game but not so hot on the price - I picked this up about 2 months ago for about £7!

A great game and a fantastic price for the 360 version. This has been holding well at £30+ since launch with the occasional deal dropping below.

If you like games like Diablo, Titan Quest, Dungeon Siege then this is a great game to go for. As a long time PC gamer I was very impressed with how well the controls work on a pad. With over 500 side quests, 6 characters, 2 main storylines and 5 difficulties there is a lot of game for your money.

I liked Sacred 1 and the likes of Titan quest, Diablo etc, but this just controlled terrible on a joypad, looked terrible, and had too much repetition. I'd say rent first before wasting £15 on it or try the demo of the PC version out, then realise on a 360 the graphics will be worse and the menus will be a combination of pressing the shoulder buttons and XYA buttons etc rather than clicking on icons or pressing a shortcut key on a keyboard. But if that doesn't put you off go for it.
