Not sure if this is just a local deal or a local misprice. Just got back from Solihull Sainsburys with 6 bottles of Sacred Hill NZ Sauvignon Blanc for £17.95. SEL showed it at half price £4.50, but it went through the tills at £3.99 per bottle. 25% off for buying 6 brought it down to £17.95 or just under £3 a bottle. Just the trick for the tennis this afternoon!
Link is to the Sainsbury website where it's priced at £8.99 a bottle. Description from there:
Sacred Hill is a family-owned winery established in 1986, producing stylistic, handmade wines.
Premium vineyard sites in the heart of Marlborough's grape growing region have been selected to create this classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Careful canopy management in the vineyard and minimal handling in the winery have enhanced varietal expression. This wine abounds with ripe tropical aromas and flavours typical of the region.
